A great destination with many things to do besides boating. Great parks, walking trails, shopping and dining all surround the main channels of the Harbor, with more to discover on many side channels. Wonderful place to kayak, SUP, or charter a fishing trip. Several rental places and lots of charters available. You'll see sea lions, pelicans, cormorants, and other marine life, and there's even a small museum. One of the best places to beat the heat and enjoy a fine day and a great meal and drink. More...

This is my favorite place to sail into between Dana Point and Santa Barbara. It's not too crowded, and guest slips always seem to be available. The vibe is sort of low key. Decent shower facilities. Everything you need replenished onboard is available within two miles. The wind can come up in the afternoon, but there's plenty of room in the fairway area to douse and secure your sails. More...
