Jamie provided Premarital counseling for me and my husband and I have to tell you that I learned more about him and me in 2months than I ever thought possible. We've lived together for years and I really thought I knew everything about him, and him me. We realized that there were lots of things we never discussed, and lots of things we misunderstood about each other. We headed into our wedding knowing that we really knew how to express our love in a way that the other felt it. We learned how to "fight nice" by realizing that we really didn't fight, we simply disagreed on some things and just needed to learn how to say things in a way that the other could understand us. I know that the tools she gave us will serve us well for our entire lives together. It was worth ten times what we paid. What do you love most about your job?
I truly love helping people find a way to put words to their truth and speak them with kindness and compassion. Helping a couple moved past the hurt that is so often caused by unexpressed expectations, misinterpretations, and miscommunication is very rewarding for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love the freedom of working with couples on a very personal basis. Whether it's in my home office or through virtual sessions, I create an environment that feels more open and inviting than that of a cold, sterile doctor's office.
