Friendly server and good food in a nice little BYOB. We sat outside and it was nice. Inside seemed a little crowded, but we were only in there long enough to give our reservation name. Would eat there again.

Hard to find a dish with no meat in it. I picked the gnocchi,which was delicious but came in a very rich cheese sauce(with balsamic reduction and walnuts) Couldn't finish it because it was so rich. The food subpar to say the least. For a small Italian restaurant the meatballs tasted like they were from a bag, (if you understand you know what I’m talking about) the sauce had that unmistakable canned taste, the gnocchi was good we asked for the sauce on the side which kept it from being drenched, the filet mignon was bland and dry (tasteless). On another note the service was great very responsive, polite and helpful. The prices I felt were not appropriate for the quality of the food. The short version is highly recommend this place. The long version is my wife and I had a failed trip to Cape May so we decided to find dinner near the beach house. This place had good reviews so we thought we would give it a shot. Everything we had was delicious and the service was fantastic. The only down side is it’s not the most kid friendly place. We decided to eat outside hoping that would distract the kids (5 & 1) and that worked. Plus the waitress (I think her name was Devon) was great with the kids and went out of her way to help. The food, atmosphere, and service at A Modo Mio is excellent. The anti pasta platter was fabulous filled with a diverse array of cheeses, meats, and veggies. My husband's favorite is the short ribs which he describes as "so good they melt in your mouth." They have a variety of meat and seafood specials that appeal to many. More recently, I began to follow a whole food plant based diet, and as my family enjoyed some delicious red meat and seafood dishes, I was prepared an outstanding vegan risotto. Two favorite desserts of our family are the cannolis and the coffee with expresso beans. Can't wait to go back to dine! More...
