I love being able to free people (particularly small business owners) from the stress and strain of managing their finances on top of running their day-to-day business operations. It makes me feel good to hear from a client that is able to focus on what they specialize in when it's what they love doing. I don't believe anyone wants to have a business that gives them a headache every time they think about opening the doors.

I had originally refused to be a tax preparer, I always wanted to do bookkeeping. My mom was getting ripped off by a tax preparation company. I found out, as I was working at a CPA firm in my younger years, that she was being overcharged for a very simple tax return and she would gladly pay for it. I was heartbroken and when I kept hearing stories of similar fashion, I thought "these people are being taken advantage of. I can be a small change at least to the circle I'm in." I decided to start my own bookkeeping business and offer tax preparation using the skills I learned at the CPA firm. Now I get to help people make sense of their finances. I love it.

I'm always honored to obtain a new client. I have a great respect for the small business owner as I'm one myself. I can understand that we wear a lot of hats at times and it can be stressful.
