Wow, what a great experience and huge relief to find people we can trust with our pets and our home. My son who normally watches our dogs when we travel was called out of town a week before our vacation. We've boarded our dogs once in the past and it was a complete disaster so that wasn't an option. I didn't want to inconvenience a neighbor with watching the dogs so that left us to find a sitter. I was extremely leery about business cards posted at the vets office or local pet shops, I didn't know where to turn. Then I saw the notice pop up on Facebook for "A Cuddle Above". I knew Lori in the past and since this was her company my trust level went through the roof. I contacted Lori, she sent me the detailed questionnaire about the pets likes, dislikes and habits. She came over and met the dogs ahead of time and that was huge for us. They took to her in an instant. I appreciated the text updates and pictures during our vacation of the dogs, you could tell these guys weren't stressed at all. It also helps that I trust Lori and her character implicitly. I didn't feel that I had to lock up every valuable in my house and that again was a big factor for me choosing them. The prices are fair, the detailed thank you note at the end was a nice touch. Will I use them again? Absolutely, they can pencil me in for the same week next year. This finally affords my wife and I some well deserved freedom to travel. Like most of us, our fur babies are part of the family and it's important to know how they are cared for when they are not with us. It was a blessing for us to find A Cuddle Above Pet Care. They offer many different options to meet your pet care needs and have the ability to care for a wide variety of family pets.
They met with us in our home a couple days before our trip to learn the routine for feeding, treats, play time and all their other needs, including medication. Animals are a good judge of people, and after the first introduction to our fur babies, I could see we had nothing to worry about.
We even received daily updates and photos of our pets while we were gone! This experience has given us the confidence to take more trips since our pet sitting needs are no longer an issue.
