I'm no expert when it comes to planning a wedding, especially when it's my own. In fact, I never, ever, wanted a wedding to begin with. Needless to say, I gave in. Albeit begrudgingly. Since we were working on an EXTREMELY limited budget, I was ready to forgo flowers and chalk it up as an unnecessary expense. That is, until a colleague of mine was so horrified that he introduced me to Kathy. She understood my apprehension and put me at ease immediately with suggestions of what to incorporate in a bridal bouquet, flower girl basket, simple centerpiece, corsages, etc. All within budget and seasonal constraints. My one request was to secure a handful of poppies to remember my father by — and Kathy made it happen. All our guests were so enamored with the colors Kathy brought together with my bouquet. A basket of flowers sent by FDT  from my sister in another state arrived when I returned from the hospital.  I called the florist today, a week later, to tell them how pleased I was with the arrangement and that it was still looking good.  They were grateful for the feedback.
