Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary and as my husband and I sit and reminisce of our wedding day we still remember how much we enjoyed having Corrado and his crew provide our guests with entertainment for the evening. Between the great music and fun in the photo booth we couldn't have been happier with our choice of having them for our wedding reception. In fact this past June I had a surprise party for my husband and again the first person I called was Corrado!! His attention to detail is on point as well as the attention he gave me when preparing for the party and answering ALL my questions. My wife and I just got married on Sept 8, 2017. Corrado Ruscica was our Officiant and our Dj. Let me tell you you can not ask for a better guy for the job. He made our wedding the best ever. And as for communication. From day one when we hired him he stayed in touch with my wife. If we had any questions there's was no waiting for a response he was right on it. If you want a Dj for any event he is the man. If you need a Officiant and a Dj he is your man. And believe me and the end of everything you will gain a friend cause that is the kind of person he his. This guys are something else. My DJ was Corrado, he was awesome. Excellent communication from the start via their site, text or phone. We had a lot to fill out in their site with names and music, so we got in contact to see if he could help us, called back, set a date, and their we were. He knew exactly what we wanted, knew all the songs and what we didn't know he already had a plan for it. In no more that 30 minutes everything was set up with names and songs. Our wedding was at 4:30, I got there at 3:30 and everything was set up and ready. Everything was perfect, all the names, all the songs and music, right on point, specially the times which we all know vary, he was always on point. Review for Corrado

To preface, Corrado simply did an amazing job at our wedding!!!
I know Corrado personally, but do not misunderstand this review for a biased one. I’m a pretty honest person, and I knew that while Corrado is a good friend of mine, I knew he was an even better DJ!
Unfortunately, that was an understatement, because he blew us away with his amazing emcee and DJ’ing skills!

A little bit about myself first, I am actually Deaf, so it’s ironic that I hired a DJ, but my wife is hearing, and I knew that Corrado would be understanding of my needs and accessibility, but when I told him some ideas I had, he took it further! I was so impressed.

I actually didn't have a strict plan that I wanted to stick to, for the DJ. Most of it was actually left to him to his own best judgment, for instance, what songs to be played during cocktail hours and for the dancing. I did have a few requests, but during reception hours he basically took it all into his own hands.

While I am Deaf (and my Wife had some song choices too), I have a strong understanding of music choices and genres, so I gave him some suggestions, but he also has a system of his own, and he requests information about the age demographic of the crowd. I gave him that, and he hit it out the park perfectly with all the songs he played. I was told that some older adults complimented “Hey! This is from our days!” while keeping the younger adults entertained with some current hits that the older folk could appreciate. Not many DJ’s can thread a needle that close between young and older people while keeping both crowds happy, and he nailed it! I was told by someone that he “read the crowd perfectly, had a great sounding personality, and played some really good songs!”

To top it off, being Deaf and having a few Deaf guests myself, I suggested that he displays some information on a screen and he did just that! He displayed the song names, artists, time remaining in song, etc.. the Deaf people loved that information , and they could watch the equalizer for the beats as well! He even emphasized the bass a little bit, for the Deaf folk to feel, while the hearing people could enjoy the sound.
Fair warning, he likes to dance a little bit too!

Being indoor and outdoor at our venue at Bogey’s, he knew how to position his speakers perfectly in a way that there was no mic feedback, and everyone could hear the music while hanging outside at the beer garden, or the announcements too!
He also coordinated perfectly with both the Bogey’s venue staff, and my own interpreters which I had assigned for the wedding (two of them) and provided them microphones and knew when to pace himself a bit to let the interpreters keep up without taking too fast.

Overall, he did a fantastic job and I only get one wedding, and he gave it his 1000%. I could never ask for more, or for better, actually. If a Deaf person can be so satisfied with a DJ at his wedding, there is no doubt you would be satisfied too! More...

Corrado and his team were amazing from start to finish! I chose A1 because I was immediately greeted online by professional and courteous staff when we were looking for a DJ for our wedding. Meeting with Corrado prior to our big day assured us that we were getting the best DJ around who had our best interests at heart. Every song requested was played and Corrado had everyone on the dance floor having an incredible experience. Even when we wanted last minute changes, Corrado was professional and attentive, satisfying our every need. The last song was "I Can't Fight This Feeling" by REO Speedwagon, and everyone was on the dance floor, singing arm-in-arm. A perfect way to close a perfect evening. My new wife and I got to relive these amazing memories the following night when we looked through the photo booth album, done so well by A1. A1 Entertainment provided our ceremony, cocktail and reception music, as well as the photo booth and lighting at the reception. It was so great to have one vendor take care everything regarding the entertainment! Corrado was so easy to work with. He explained all of the options and made sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. The lighting in the ballroom really made the room beautiful and our guests had a great time with the photo booth. The music was exactly what we wanted and we were able to put in all of our requests on A1’s easy to use website before the wedding. Most importantly, our guests said that the reception was a great party and everyone really enjoyed it! Thank you, Corrado! I wish we needed a DJ more often so that we could work with you again! From the first meeting to the last song, Corrado and his team were phenomenal. They were a blast and made the wedding not only fun but memorable. We were told hundreds of times how much fun our guests had and how great the song selection was. We have guests of all ages and all styles, and Corrado played songs that pleased all of them and got them dancing. Corrado was professional, friendly, and most importantly honest. I never once felt like he was trying to nickle and dime us like other vendors. He made the planning process easy and straight forward. They went above and beyond to make they day perfect. A1 Entertainment was amazing throughout the whole wedding process! Corrado was quick to answer any questions I had! Bill, our DJ was fantastic! He spoke with us on the phone a few days before the wedding to iron out some details, and he knew exactly how to get our guests moving on the dance floor! Our guests had so much fun dancing the night away. They also had a great time with the Photo Booth! We loved the guest book of the pictures taken throughout the night. I was a guest at a wedding emceed by A1. The DJ did a great job with music, flow, lighting, and got people on the dance floor! Definitely made it an amazing evening. Also, if you're into line dancing then these guys will do line dances that EVERYONE knows (we've all been to those weddings where they try to get you to learn some mystery dance no one has ever heard of). I would definitely recommend A1, just make sure you get your Best Man or MoH to rehearse the toast with them! More...

It was wonderful working with A1 Entertainment for our wedding in June. We booked them about a year in advance and they were fantastic between the communication, helping decide what we wanted, and being flexible with last minute changes. DJ Joe was amazing! He did such a great job and was the nicest DJ ever. The photobooth was awesome, the attendant was hilarious, and the book we received with all the pictures was the perfect touch!! Thank you so much! Everything was amazing! From the photo booth to the music, to the uplighting and monogram, everything was perfect. Corrado did an awesome job at getting people on the dance floor. All of the music we requested was played as well. The line for the photo booth was so long, everyone loved it! We even got a nice scrapbook with the photos inside that everyone signed. We were so glad that we chose A1 Entertainment for our wedding! From the beginning corrado sat down with us and helped us fill some stuff out and walked us through everything. The day of the wedding was just amazing! Played all the right songs. We got the photo booth and everyone loved it! We were so happy to get a photo album and see everyone. From the moment Katie and I met with Corrado we knew we were going to have a great party. His library of music and experience was impressive. He took our ideas and created his own touch to make the perfect setting for our sons bar mitzvah. He referred us our photographer and videographer which were both amazing products.
He was accessible right up until the event which was a big success. Even got his wife Holly to help at the event when he saw there was a need and she was awesome. Who does that?
My favorite part was the freestyle dance party for the last hour and a half or so that Corrado personally threw down.
