Prior to visiting, I read the menu and knew about the 18% service charge for takeout orders. The kind host informed of the charge before taking my order. Stopped by for an early dinner. The Yuzu lemonade was super refreshing after a hot, sunny day. For starters, we tried the deviled eggs followed by beef pho, bahn mi salad, and pork bahn mi for mains. LOVED this place. Small menu but everything is delicious! Went with my dad who eats anything and I am a vegan. He got a philly cheesesteak with the pho broth side and I got a vegan cheese cheesesteak with the vegan pho broth. We both loved our dishes! Originally I ordered the small sandwich and upgraded to the large thinking I would have leftovers but I ended up eating the whole thing. My dad said it was probably one of the best philly cheesesteaks he's ever had (from the Northeast so has had a lot of them). We wanted something "different" and 98 Center was it. Healthy, some Vegan, very reminiscent of an eatery found in Berkeley, we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was hospitable.   The menu is small so we carefully perused it, looking for something that we would find satisfactory for lunch. 12-Inch Beef Cheesesteak - 4 - a huge sandwich packed with beef, onions, mushrooms and cheese. Beef Pho - 4 - A bit more fresh veg would have elevated it to a 5. The noodles were flat instead of round but the flavor was right. Banh Mi Salad - 5 - A huge salad with lots of fixings. A suggestion might be to change the bowl to a traditional one instead of the one with a small center and large sides. That made it a bit awkward to eat out of.   Service was laid back and efficient. We had the pork banh mi with the house salad. Between the two of us, we found the sandwich to be a hit and the salad was very tasty. The watermelon radish and dressing was a nice touch to the salad. Loved this place. Arrived about 5:30 on a Thursday in April, and it was already pretty busy but not full yet. We sat at the community table in the middle of the restaurant (patio was full). Drinks from the bar were a little slow to arrive, but service was otherwise quick and friendly. Got the New York Sour, which was good, if a little sweet. Pork belly app was AMAZING, as was the rest of our dinner. My 11-year-old loved the Philly Cheesesteak. The rest of us went with Vietnamese options-- Beef Pho was delicious--I would have taken that broth home with me if I could have and my husband, who loved the pork belly banh mi. THE BEST! Delicious cocktails, local focused food, reallllllly yummy pho. We even asked for 2 cups of pho broth for breakfast in the next morning. The bahn mi nachos were especially good. Very chill and fun atmosphere.  Very moab-y vibe.  It's a pretty small space and they try to fit as many as they can, but it's fine.  They also have outdoor seating.  We got seated right away! The wait was for the food.  Which was still only like 15 mins.  The appetizer was the best part!!! The pork belly was SO flavorful and yum! The Serrano jam that comes with it compliments it like perfect! They marry together just right.  I found myself wanting more.....The pho had a good flavor and the crunch from the sprouts and onions was so good.  I got the chicken and mushroom and it was like your everyday pho.  Nothing big or new.  The Philly cheese steak is yum too! tldr; fantastic restaurant, highly recommend philly cheesesteakwe were so hungry when we came here for dinner after hiking at arches national park. at 98 center, food was served fast, our server was great and we just inhaled our food!! we were also seated immediately at around 7:15pm, which was great because we were so hungry :) we sat inside bc it was a little chilly but they also have outdoor seating! we started off with the pork belly and deviled eggs and although pricey, the pork belly was definitely worth a try! the deviled eggs were incredible too, and their homemade kimchi was so good that i had to get an extra side of it. we then got their beef pho and their special, which was a spicy philly cheesesteak WHICH WERE BOTH SO GOOD and exactly what we were looking to eat after our hike. thinking about their philly cheesesteak makes my mouth water all over again, it was so satisfying, it was so cheesy and creamy with so much meat! i am so glad we got the side of kimchi because we ate it together with the cheesesteak so the cheesesteak wouldn't taste so overpowering. echoing with what others have said, their owner is from philly and literally imports bread from there for their cheesesteaks!! i also loved the beef pho, specifically their soup was so gooood! maybe not as rich as pho ive had in other vietnamese restaurants that are run by vietnamese people but would like to add that even though their restaurant is not necessarily authentic, its still very yummy for sure! There's a few things I regret in life....not buying Tesla stock early on, not getting my masters and not ordering the banh Mi nachos at 98 Center. I was there last week and think about them every day.But when we went and saw everyone getting pho or banh Mi, decided to go the traditional route. My cousin ate with me and talked about the beef bone broth for a couple days afterwards so suffice to say, this place is a fantastic pick while in Moab! Incredibly overpriced, even in a city like San Francisco you won't find far at $18 a bowl. The broth is incredibly salty, which makes me think it had a lot of MSG in it. The chicken pho claims to be local produce, but the chicken itself was rubbery. This is cultural appropriation at its definition. I didn't see one person of color working. What I do see is high profit margins, and really poorly executed attempt at Vietnamese food. More...

not the most authentic but I didn't mindNaturally when I heard that there was Vietnamese food close to Arches, I wanted to hit this place up. Staff was very nice and we were seated right away. We got the chicken banh mi w/ side salad and the pho. The Banh mi was delicious - chicken was perfectly cooked and tender. The veggies were fresh and crisp (beware of the jalapenos! It def hit me like a truck). It was a bit heavy on the sauce, so I would ask for lighter sauce next time. The side salad was actually amazing - so fresh and refreshing and beautifully presented. The pho was decent - the meat and noodles were pretty typical of pho. My only gripe was the broth - it didn't have the rich flavor that I typically get with more traditional pho's. Where do we even begin with this place. We looked forward to some Pho all day and the second we stepped into 98 Center the voice of an angel greeted us. For the next hour Cozy took the most amazing care of us, and if he was a special we would of only ordered him -- cause what a tall drink of yum! This was such a nice little gem.  They easily accommodated this vegan and her Omni sister.  The food was really good and my sister had 1/2 of her sandwich to go, so the portions were big.  We loved the parklet dining room to the side of the restaurant (full disclosure, we ate there October 4).  Waitress was very nice and the vibe was calm with others eating with their canine pals.  One last recommend:  the cookie we shared for dessert was awesome! This place was an amazing delight. We had the chicken phó the first night and it was so good that we were back again for banh mi salads during our short trip. The flavors were so fresh, nuanced and unique. We did carry out and everything came packed in separate dishes (noodles, broth, sprouts/cilantro/peppers). The banh mi salads with chicken were such great flavor combinations - we tried the vegan black garlic and vegan orange dressings and loved both. Both times we walked in and ordered an only waited 10-15min for prep, but I think we could have called ahead. The person at checkout was friendly. Fantastic ambiance and even better food! Any foodies will appreciate the smell that hits you when walking in. The pork belly plate and deviled eggs are must try apps. The steak Bahn mi and pork pho were also excellent. We will be back here tomorrow for more!! More...
