6 Paws Training Camp was created not just to teach people to train their dogs, but as a way to encourage dog owners to get out and experience nature with their furry best friends. We aim to develop a better connection between owners, their dogs, and nature through basic obedience training in everyday distractions and fun outdoor recreation adventures.

6 paws training has been a success with our Great Dane puppy with his potty habits & we’ve been bell training him which I never knew was a thing, but Dax has been really good with ringing the bell.
The handbook & personalized training instructions have been helpful.

We had our dog go through the basic obedience training. The trainer, Tanya, was patient, kind and knowledgeable. What do you love most about your job?
I love it when people see the difference in there dogs behavior as a result of training. I also love it when people are enjoying themselves during training sessions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start my own business was I wanted to find a way to encourage dog owners to get out an experience nature with their furry best friends. I realized that many outdoor enthusiasts wished they could bring their pets with them, but would not because of behavior issues, or they did not trust that their dog would listen to them outside of their house.
Why should our clients choose you?
My clients should choose 6 Paws Training Camp because not only do we train dogs in public distractions, but we also teach owners how to enjoy outdoor recreation with their dogs, through outdoor skill building and environmental awareness.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In home training sessions include masks to be worn by the trainer per clients request. Trainer has been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Basic Obedience I Private Training: 10 weeks old and up
Duration: Lessons occur once per week for 6 weeks
Location: In Home + Intro to Public Distraction

Duration: Lessons occur once per week for 6 weeks
Location: Multiple Public Locations
Pre-requisite: Basic Obedience I Private Training
Curriculum: (Exclusively Public Distraction and Reactivity Training)

-Rabies
6 Month Membership Flexi Plan: 10 weeks old and up
Duration: 6 Months
Location: In Home or Public locations
Curriculum:
• 14 weeks of training at your convenience
• Customize your plan based on your training needs
• 4 consecutive weeks of training + scheduled follow-ups for 5 months.
• Access to adventure trails hike after the first month of training
• Gain discount points for camping package every time you participate in the adventure trails hike.
Required Vaccines:
• First 2 Sets of Distemper/Parvovirus
• Rabies if 4 months old
3 Month Membership Flexi Plan: 10 weeks old and up
Duration: 3 Months
