Really enjoyed our first meal at Rooster's Family Kitchen! They've completely transformed the space into a cozy, farmhouse-style dining room, with nice lighting and cute little design elements throughout. Our adult meals--chicken parm and a Greek chicken pasta dish--were delicious and huge, with plenty for leftovers. The restaurant is super kid-friendly, as well. Called in a take-out order and was told 45 mins even though it was DEAD at the restaurant. Once I went to pick it up the food was not done, and turns out the girl on the phone took only half my order and added other things to my order that I never said! I was then told it was going to take a long time for my pizzas to get done even though I had initially waited over 45 mins but the girl never put my pizzas in my order; when in fact she took my order for 2 lrg pizzas and they weren’t even making large pizzas tonight APPARENTLY. A man was called up to do my refund when I said I wasn’t waiting any longer for the pizzas and he never even apologized. I went home to find out that they added items onto my order that I never asked for. When I called back for ANOTHER refund the man was extremely rude and told me that he did apologize when he NEVER did. He continuously argued with me and was very disrespectful. He blamed the EXTREMELY screwed up order on being the first day open. I’m sorry I do not care if it’s your first day or you’re 100th day if you are not capable of running a business DO NOT OWN ONE! For it being the first day, the employees and the service as a whole SUCKED. If the business continues to be like this to others I do not see it lasting. 0/10. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely awful. More...
