Rachel and Alex did a deep clean of our home and they really did a fabulous job! They worked their tails off to make the whole place really shine! My kitchen, bathrooms, and baseboards are cleaner than they have been for years and I now feel ready for the holiday season. I used to hire a few different cleaning services. Each time, Rachel would come home and she would look at everything and say “This is not clean. This is halfway done. This is not right. They missed this...” and so on. So I can attest from my direct experience and with the utmost confidence, that if you hire Rachel and her crew to clean something, it is going to be done right and at a higher standard than other companies. Client Obligations/Acknowledgements

Expectations & Obligations: “Clean” means a lot of different things to different people. To some, it means having a floor with no laundry on it, and a room free from dirty dishes and pizza boxes. To others, clean means that everything is meticulously free of dust and dirt and artfully placed in just the right space. For most, “clean” is somewhere in between. Because we here at 412 Clean Teams want to serve our client’s definition of clean, it means we must do quite a bit of communicating to discern just what you mean when you ask for a quote to clean your home.

412 Clean Teams provides professional maid services to homeowners, renters, property managers and small commercial enterprises. We are, by definition, maids. Maids take care of household cleaning (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, cleaning every room in the home, washing windows, mopping, taking out trash and recyclables, cleaning the bathrooms, etc.). We can also be hired to handle larger tasks like a detailed spring cleaning of your home from top to bottom. We do not generally perform other domestic household duties likes laundry and dishes. If you need those services, we recommend sites like TaskRabbit® to aide you in your search. While we can and do change our clients’ bedding or tackle an area in the home in need of organization, we do so for an added fee.

As with most relationships, communication is everything. Our cleaning checklists detail key differences between general and deep cleaning and establishes a standard for our innovative “Deepest Clean”. Note that the “Deepest Clean” is the only service that lists the organization and cleaning of excessive clutter, specifically. What this means for our General Cleaning clients is, that to keep your costs for routine, general cleaning within your budget, we need you to do a little preparation before we come to your home:
1. Clear all surfaces of excessive clutter. This can be stacks of mail, a playroom full of toys, a vanity loaded up with make-up and hair ties. Do your best to clear the surfaces so that we can give them the attention they need.
2. In the bathrooms, put toothbrushes and rinse cups in a cupboard or drawer. Spraying cleaning chemicals and cleaning toilets aerosolizes particles that you probably don’t want on your toothbrush.
3. Secure precious or irreplaceable items. Either put them away or tell us about them so that we exact special caution around these things.
4. Pick up, wash, and put away all the dishes in your home. We need unimpeded access to hot water throughout our visit. Having an empty sink and dishwasher really helps.

Cancellations
Pricing for routine cleaning services is calculated essentially discounting the “first time” general cleaning price because we know your home has recently been cleaned to our standard. When you cancel a cleaning appointment, your home loses some of its upkeep and the next cleaning takes longer to bring back to standard. Late cancellations also prevent us from working to our full capacity. We therefore ask that you give at least 48 hours’ notice if you must cancel your cleaning appointment. Please also expect the following routine cleaning to include a restart fee of up to $50.

Breakage vs. Routine Wear
Even the most experienced maids bump into things. Should this happen, our policy is to notify you immediately and offer to replace the item if possible. If it is not possible, we or our underwriter will pay you an amount equal its purchase price.

Also note: the act of cleaning sometimes causes wear, particularly on painted surfaces, flooring, and stainless steel. We are not responsible for normal wear on items caused by cleaning as it would happen, no matter who is cleaning.

These things being said, we want you to be happy with the cleaning services you hire us to do. We want to know if we missed something, and we want to make it right, every time. We honor your commitment to a clean home and take pride in the work we do. We want you to know that your feedback and concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
