Such wonderful food! We go every year when in Naples for my husband’s birthday. The lamb appetizer is one of our favourites but this time we also had the scallops which were fantastic and the samosas. The Prawn main was yummy as was the chicken korma and lamb vindaloo. Order a bunch of dishes and share! We will see you next year! Special shout out to Zoren our waiter who has served us the last two years and also knows how to fix the lights More...

Unfortunately we were not told in advance that the wonderful regular menu wouldn't be available on New Year's Eve. While we had a nice time, as regular customers, we were rather disappointed with the limited food selection, especially because one member of our party has several food allergies, and the special new year's eve menu left almost nothing for him to choose and the waitress said that there was nothing she could do because the regular menu was unavailable. We love this restaurant, but New Year's Eve was unfortunately not 21 Spices' finest moment. More...

I'm going to start by saying OMG. What a wonderful restaurant. The decor is beautiful - so warm and inviting as was the host at the front door who greeted and seated us. Her name is Helen. Our waiter Daniella is very professional . She explained the various dishes we were interested in (as we are not Indian so our understanding of the food is quite limited). Anyway, the food was outstanding. You didn't have a chance Bobby Flay!! Started with a drink in the bar room and then moved to the dining room. Started with the salad with grilled shrimp and the lamb kabob. For dinner, the lamb shank, tandoori chicken and the spicy chicken. Then finished the meal with the coconut balls which tasted like a dark chocolate Mounds bar. The 4 of us are so excited about this fine restaurant. We drove down from south Fort Myers and definitely worth the drive as we will be coming back with family and friends. Anyone not aware of Indian cuisine should definitely go and be surprised by the great food, beautiful Indian decor and fine staff. One more thing, the bathroom was pristine. I have NEVER been in a cleaner bathroom in a restaurant in my 59 years!! I thank you for that. Very European in style. Thank you More...

We booked the reservation over a month ago. When we arrived on Christmas Eve we were shown a seat in the corner of the bar, while the main dining room had live music and the crowd enjoying Christmas Eve. We asked the hostess if we could wait for a table and we were told there would not be a table available in not a nice tone. Food was good, servers were good, just disappointed in the attitude of the hostess and our seating. More...

As an Indian myself, Desi restaurants are not my favorite to eat at while traveling, as I'm usualy disappointed by a lack of authenticity and flavor. However, 21 spices gave me and my family an aromatic and flavorful experience that we enjoyed.First the restaurant looks very vibrant and colorful, with modern and welcoming decor, reminiscent of something out of Aladdin. The Bollywood music in the background and the wall of Indian spices is super thoughtful. On the food side, we had some chaat and the tomato dhania bisque. Both were very tasty especially the bisque tasted like South Indian rasam. The entrees were good but not the best I have had. The paneer dish was very clovey. The kofta was a bit dry and a touch too sweet. They were tasting very good but my palette and expectations are bit different. The gulab jamun came on a bed of custard, instead of in the syrup like it's traditionally served and we were not sure the combo works. I could not taste neither as both were over powering. The service is very attentive and good. The staff continuously stop by table and check on you and keep filling water. They were super friendly and helped us with our requests for additional chutneys and such. More...

Delicious food, beautiful decor, good service. Best food outside of India. Would returnOnly disappointing thing was the manager going past our table several times, not stopping or even making eye contact. He went to other tables, some more than once. Assume they were regulars. As first time clients, which he should have known if he’d looked at the reservations, you’d think he’d be interested in cultivating a relationship. My husband is a ‘foodie’ and would have enjoyed speaking with him. More...

The interior and exterior of the restaurant are gorgeous. The lighting and colors are beautiful along with the decor. The happy hour at the bar is also pretty good with $5 wines and cocktails as well as many food plates. We got our drinks and then went to the dining room for dinner. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about all the food and quick to give recommendations to the table. Additionally everyone was quick to refill water and ask how things were.As for the food, it was amazing. I'd highly recommend the tandoor as well as the lamb saag for some highly flavorful dishes. The prices are reasonable too, especially considering the quality of food.Highly recommend. More...

We have been many times and enjoy the food. However last night two at our table wanted mild and there meal was as requested but the other two asked for medium and they also got mild. Now, the food was really flavorful but the medium had absolutely no kick to it at all. I hate my food too hot but I definitely need that heat when I’m having Indian food. We and another couple have visited the restaurant twice in one year. We loved the ambiance, service and attention. We each had separate dishes. Every one liked their selection except I. Last year I had sheesh kebab and this time saag gosht. The kebabs were salty and chilly spicy and saag gosht was salty! Both could have been less salty and would have brought real flavor of the mix of individual spices. Apart from health issues, such dishes require a marriage of just right proportions. If one is out of balance , the taste gets out of balance. In my case, the chilly hot and salty salt got in my way, both can also pose health issues in a man in his eighties! Overall we were very pleased and I would recommend the place to my friends. One should take my comments in a positive manner. Next time I will ask for milder dish with less salt. We will return as you should too. It’s a great place to come and dine. More...

Here last night with friends, Gloria & Henry who love this food as much as I. The up-lighting outside upon entering and the colorful display of light is just beautiful. Inside the restaurant is equally as nice and attractive with the lighting and comfortable feeling no matter where you sit. From the moment you enter, everyone you encounter will warmly greet you and make you feel very comfortable. We sat in the middle of the restaurant no matter what side of the table you're on, always something attractive to look at, be it the lighting or decoration around you. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all this evening but was packed the night before. It's been like this the past two weeks we were told. Now that "season" will be in full swing, I know this place is going to be packed till May of next year. I'm already looking forward to returning here. Our server was Daniela C. and we mentioned to her from the outset that we all haven't seen each other in months and were in no rush to immediately order. She was always accommodating, very professional, attentive and courteous throughout. Helpful with the menu and it worked out for the 3 hours there. We certainly had enough to eat. Everything we had we enjoyed immensely. My pictures on site will make you hungry. The portions were very generous. A lot of people may complain that the prices are steep, but I didn't see that. But I did notice we may have ordered too much food. Upon my return, will share some dishes as it was more than enough. IMPORTANT: A word about if "too spicy".  Before ordering be clear to the server how spicy you want the food. My friends fave appetizer they found for the first time was spicy. Had always been a non spicy appetizer. In that case we asked for a side of yogurt and that took the sting out of it. We like medium spicy but if you want mild or none, please let the server know. Appetizers: Chicken #65 (spicy)Mazedaar Samosa (mildly spicy)Pear Salad (not pictured)Entrees: Spicy Sikandari Lamb ShankSaffron Chicken Khorma (not pictured) Bagare Eggplant (not pictured)Butter Chicken Sides: Complimentary Pappadam with trio of sauces Pear Salad (not pictured) Mango Lassi (Sweet & Salted mango yogurt drink)Sag Aloo (Spinach, Potatoes, Mustard Seeds(not pictured)Dessert: Trio of SorbetSpecialty Dessert with Pistachio ice creamThe whole staff assisting Daniela the whole evening were great. There was no rush to leave because there was a small amount of diners this particular night. So we entered at 6:30 and left the restaurant at 9:30. We were able to take some of the food home. The food was excellent. Waiter was quite helpful, especially with advice concerning the degree of heat to order for each dish. (It's great that chef customizes the spice level so precisely.). Cocktails were unique and very tasty. Only negative was the pacing of the meal. First course came within minutes of ordering, and entrees came immediately after app plates were cleared. Given that this place rightfully claims to be a step above your basic Indian restaurant, the pacing should be more like a fine dining establishment. More...
