I hired David to help with a renovation of an apartment on the Upper East Side. From the start, I was impressed with how accommodating he was. I was about nine months pregnant at the start of our project and was nervous that I would go into labor at any moment. David made himself available to me as often as I asked to make sure we could really get the ball rolling before I had our baby. After most decisions were made, David came to the project often to make certain that things were right and was always looking out for my best interest. He was the most honest person I worked with throughout the entirety of my project and it gave me so much peace of mind to know he was on top of everything. Beside being very knowledgeable and having many years of experience, David has a very sophisticated and elegant aesthetic. His ability to combine function and design is especially wonderful. The final product speaks for itself but I really couldn't be happier with how it looks as well as how it functions for our family. David is a true professional and gentleman in every sense and I would certainly like to work with him again in the future. More...

My experience with David Mansfield was the highlight of the renovation of the apartment we worked on together at 30 East 62nd St. The building had a very strict alteration agreement and Mr. Mansfield helped interpret it and create an interior that met with the clients needs and wants within the parameters of not only the buildings code but also New York City codes. His knowledge of all requirements was extremely helpful for making quick decisions and providing a finished product that pleased everyone. His drawings were executed quickly and were an exact replication of the clients desires. When we hit the proverbial wall, he was on the job immediately and providing solutions that were realistic and attractive. He worked extremely well with our construction crew and there was mutual respect and admiration all around. The job entailed designing a new kitchen, providing bare walls with moldings and bringing the ceiling height up with crown molding. The bathrooms were reconfigured to be more efficient and attractive. The project was on a very tight time frame and it was completed on time and under budget.
