What’s your interior design process?

Let’s Chat: The design process begins with an interview (usually at the job site) that will uncover your goals, budget and expectations. 180* Designs will generate a contract outlining financial obligations and the scope of the project. Typically we can outline design fees into “packages”. Projects may have a planning package, a finishes package, a lighting package, a furniture package, a plumbing & appliances package. These packages show you exactly what design fees will be for the given package so that you can pick and choose what you need help with and what fits your budget. If you don’t want to split it up like that, not a problem! We can also work within an hourly rate which is typically $125/hr and $75/hr for AutoCAD/Computer work. You will be given a rough estimate of how long each portion of a project will take to try and meet your budget goals.
Design: With the client’s goals and budget in mine, the designer will begin creating a design concept. Floor plans, colors palettes, furniture and material selections are presented to the client, as needed. Plans and proposals are presented to compare options and how selection relates to the client’s overall budget and need.
Implement: With the client’s input, the design is finalized and product is ordered. Detailed drawings are provided to the contractors and the project begins!
180* Design Home Staging : Give me 24-48 hours and a small budget and I can turn your house into one that sells! I can take your existing pieces of art and furniture and rearrange it for a look that will help the space look it’s best. If needed I will then grab some “finishing touch décor” items that will be sure to impress any future buyer. I can so this for you even if you are not looking to sell, but just revamp your space with items you already own!

I design for you and your family, so it doesn’t really matter what my personal design taste is! What are YOU drawn to? I will help you create the look you like but better!

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been an interior designer in Tucson, Arizona for 15 years. I have a bachelors degree in Interior Design and I worked under two successful designers for my first 13 years. I learned valuable tools and experience to be able succeed on my own for the next 15 years!
