My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in early October 2019. Unfortunately, our flight was scheduled to land around 10 p. m. and there was absolutely no way that we would be able to check-in by 11 p.m. (we had to rent a car). Not a problem! I called and was able to make arrangements and we were able to check-in around 11:30 p.m.||||We stayed in the Amethyst room and it was quite comfortable. The house is very old and the floor boards creek quite a bit, but I never heard anyone else walking up and down the stairs. The Amethyst room is on the 3rd floor and the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak. But, that is the only complaint that I have about the B&B.||||Breakfast was great every morning and I enjoyed chatting with other guests in the morning.||||It is 1 block from the Seattle Light Rail and is 2 blocks from Broadway on Cap. Hill. I walked to downtown/Space Needle/Pike Place Market/Pioneer Square/Volunteer Park, etc. The location is absolutely perfect and can't be beat! More...

This B&B was a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. My husband has knee issues and the staff was more than willing to bring our suitcases up to our room. This B&B thought of everything...candy and nuts for snacking, fruit and biscotti for munching, tons of movies to borrow, umbrellas for rain and even vases for flowers purchased at Pike's Market!!! The breakfasts were simply delicious with great variety each morning. The innkeeper suggested we take the rail from the airport which cost only $3 and then a short 2 block walk to the B&B. Some guests said the taxi fare was $50 from the airport. Capitol Hill is close to everything. A $7 Uber Ride to most places. We would highly recommend 11th Avenue Inn B&B. More...

Great B&B in an old house that takes you on a journey to the beginning of the 20th century. I LOVED THIS BED AND BREAKFAST. It was my first time staying at one and was a bit nervous. i called before-hand so i knew what to expect. The room was clean. Each room as it's own bathroom. The house is beautiful. The breakfast was SUPERB and the chef was quick to make any requested adjustments. There is an office room to do any business work, print passes to local things, etc. There were snacks placed around such as chocolates and nuts that I felt to be icing on the perfect cake. It is located right in the center of Capitol Hill. A short walk to City Center. 2 blocks (both up and down) from a strip of local restaurants and coffee shops. This is the best of what you want in a B&B: clean, comfortable bedding, beautiful common areas, delicious breakfasts, and superb location. Owner and Inn manager both delightfully helpful. The Diamond Suite was perfect for us with its’ own entrance & kitchenette. From the airport it’s an easy $3 fare on the train to the station 3 blocks away & a short walk to the Inn. It’s beautiful! A comfortable home from home, 2 blocks from the link train to explore the city, 2 minutes from the action of colourfully diverse Capitol Hill, host Dave & his team cannot do enough for you & are super helpful. I loved my room, Amethyst. Air con, WiFi, breakfast, snacks, coffee & tea available all day - they even made me a packed breakfast when I took an early day trip to Vancouver. Outstanding in every way! This place is beautifully maintained; it is an older home that has been completely refurbished. The owner, David, has invested back a great deal of money for upgrades and quality furnishings . I learned from the maintenance guy that they even installed extra sheet-rock between rooms and on the ceilings to cut-down on noise - and it works very well. Beverages and snacks are available all day, including mixed nuts, assorted chocolates, and even Biscotti. There is an inviting living room, and a computer room with two computers available for the guests. The WiFi is strong and there is off-road parking behind the building. It's location is perfect; restaurants, shopping, and parks all within walking distance. They serve breakfast everyday, and it is not only delicious, it is served on real china! The staff is very friending and accommodating, and every room I went in to was spotless. This is my first experience with a B&B, and they have set the bar high! Definitely recommend, and I will return whenever coming back to Seattle. More...

CLEAN, WELCOMING, & A GREAT LOCATION!I could not think of 3 words to better describe the 11th Ave Inn. The hospitality and cleanliness can not be over stated. The inn is, also, located in the great Capital Hill neighborhood. You are 5 minutes from public transit, which can get you to Pike Place, Space Needle and sports stadiums all within 15 minutes. One of the best decisions we made was to choose the 11th Avenue Inn! Right from the start we were impressed with the personal attention received by David, the owner. He and his staff are personable, friendly and there to make sure you are completely satisfied with your stay. The breakfasts are fabulous, and you have access to a variety of teas/fruit/snacks/water at any time. Plus, free wii-fi and the use of two computers. ||The home is located in the Capital Hill area. It is so easily accessible to Light Link Rail and bus services. The Inn provides information on each of these transportation methods. We used both and found them to be a great way to get where we wanted to go for a very reasonable cost. We both had ORCA cards which made using them even simpler. If you are over 65, apply for the free Senior card and you travel for $1! The most you can be charged for adult travel is $3.00! ||There are extensive dining options in the immediate walking area along with lovely parks, two grocery stores and a Rite-Aid. ||I originally booked on-line and then called the Inn directly. Speaking with David yielded other room options not shown on the booking.com site. He graciously suggested we check out the Diamond Suite and The Barn. The Diamond Suite is an apartment with a private entrance including bed, bath, family room and kitchenette w/ mini fridge/stove top/microwave/coffee maker! Our 9 day stay was even more enjoyable with these extra amenities. ||If you like to immerse yourself in the local culture, then choosing this B&B will make you feel right at home. I would recommend you call them directly to see what room options are open for your time frame. I can't say enough good things about this B&B! It was very clean, in a great location and very reasonably priced.The highest compliment I have though, goes to Aaron, the Inn Keeper. Aaron was very accommodating, super friendly, has great customer service skills and her attitude was just awesome. Note to the owner(s), do everything you can to keep her around. Was greeted by the innkeeper/owner, David, if I recall, it was late around 10:30pm (was traveling on an international flight late arrival). I was exhausted and when I got to my large room, nice shower, comfy bed, I was very pleased. I had 3 nights and no mornings; ie. I had to be out of the house before breakfast, unfortunately. Whilst I cannot comment on the breakfasts, the coffee was very good. In the evenings there are wine glasses, bottle opener, mixed nuts, tea, etc. available (if there was more I didn't notice, I went up to my room). Great location, I walked the entire time I was there to all spots (except the airport of course). I walked to the Swedish hospital on 1600 E. Jefferson St. daily, not a problem, it was winter and no snow! Great rates too by comparison to the hotels in the area. I'll stay here again absolutely. Great wifi. More...
