06 Rounds K9

I had been referred to 06 Rounds K9 by Petsmart actually..they said the couldn’t train aggressive dogs like Loki but they had known Chris to be “the guy” for trouble dogs. So I hit up on instagram and with no hesitation he was ready to work with me. Loki had bitten 3 ppl so far and was basically on his last leg before they put him down but Chris turned that all around. And he sent update videos the entire time so we could see exactly how the training was goin and what he was doing to correct the behaviors. I’ve known Chris for awhile and he’s always been a solid dog trainer. This is the 3rd dog he’s trained for me. The first 2 we’re hunting/bird dogs and Kinsley was just family obedience. I think it was pretty cool that he incorporated all of us, my wife and the kids in the training. It really built our confidence being able to direct Kinsley especially when visitors come over. He even brought his giant dog into our house to show Kinsley how to meet other dogs appropriately. He’s an awesome dude with a ton of experience with crazy dogs (which Kinsley was). My pup Max had gotten attacked by another dog on our walk and ever since he was acting aggressively anytime we’d encounter any dogs! And bein a Cane Corso, I was terrified I might not be able to control him if something happened. Chris showed up, threw a leash on him and I’ve never seen Max act so relaxed. It was almost immediate! Chris explained to me that his “aggression” stemmed from that bad experience and now he’s acting out to avoid confrontation, so I needed to advocate and be confident for my dog! I opted for the board and train, when Max came home, he was a completely different dog!!! Now I take him everywhere: the beach, downtown, patio restaurants and he is so sweet and well-mannered! I’ve been quite skeptical over the years with dog trainers bc i had a bad experience with my first puppy but I gave it a shot and put my full trust in Chris and man it paid off! Ollie was having some severe behavior issues which I Chris explained had a lot to do with “socializing” her at the dog park. But he helped us work through it and even made it to where we were doing place drills outside the dog park! And he’s a super sweet guy! I’d def recommend! More...
