I have worked with Jon and Teri for only 5 months, and I say only because I am 65 this year and built a lifetime before them of bad habits but more importantly, bad advice. I am a Traumatic Brain Injury “in recovery”, having built cognitive skills back for the last 15 years now to work on the physical recovery as well. I’ve done liquid diets, starvation diets, running, Zumba, you name it over the last 20 + years, and while I could lose weight,( for year long stints), I couldn’t hold it off nor build muscle. IN fIVE MONTHS, with Jon’s training and diggin in on nutrition, and Teri’s meticulous watch over the strength training, I have come far and learned much. 5 months. I have never met two trainers who knew more, cared more or spent more time trying to improve my physique yes, but also the psyche changes that will make it possible for me to sustain the changes. I have gone from 0 ability to lift in March to 150 squats with weights/supermans/step without a lot of breaks, lost I don’t know how many inches - a lot. Firm and feeling in control, confident and excited to keep it going. I can’t tell you how much personal oversight you will have in joining their gym... you’ll not believe it or find it elsewhere. I wanted to add another dimension to my training and sought out JATPC to train strongman, and I'm so glad I did! After about 6 weeks of Sunday Strongman classes, I made a huge front squat PR. My back was so much stronger and prevented my normal wilting that has limited my front squat for years. More...
