What’s your signature dish?
Costa Vida has many delicious options for you to choose from, but our most popular is our Signature Sweet Pork. It is slowly braised in cola and has a sweet but savory taste. Our Sweet Pork is part of our Top Shelf Taco Bar, or can be ordered individually as a burrito, bowl, or salad.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I have been fortunate enough to plan many different types of events. It is so important to truly listen to your customers needs and special requests, especially during this time of uncertainty and change. Costa Vida will do the best to accommodate special requests, so this means asking many different types of questions, so that we get a full understanding of what menu options work the best for your event.
What do you love most about your job?
As the Director of Sales, my favorite part of my job is serving people a great food product that is fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. Our food has complimented many types of group events and settings. The reviews we have received over the years comes from amazing loyal customers, which is another thing I love about my job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Costa Vida is a franchise that originated in the Utah area. Our local owner loved Costa Vida so much dining in Utah, that he brought it here to the Kansas City area. With two locations, and more to come, Costa Vida's brand is growing locally, and doing what we can to serve the community.

Our clients should choose us because our service and food quality will satisfy you and make guests very happy! Please visit one of our locations to try the food yourself. The management and staff at either location will guide your taste buds in the right direction. We offer you a FREE TASTING so that you can taste our signature dishes before you book your event.

Costa Vida is a catering vendor, so our services to order individual meals or catering can be ordered on line. Planning can be done remotely if needed, but any food items would need to be picked up or set up for delivery.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Costa Vida has implemented procedures within the store that allows for a safer environment to dine in. Our staff wear masks and gloves for all catering events and deliveries. Each staff member is asked to take their temperature whenever working for the day or going on delivery. For catering, Costa Vida has added a "Boxed Lunch" type menu for guests that require individual meal selections that are labeled and come with individual silverware packets.
Event Planning
Our Director of Sales has over 20 years of experience in event planning including wedding coordination. Our service will be above and beyond what you would expect from a vendor like us.
Safe Delivery
Costa Vida will provide a safe way of delivering fresh food to your guests. Full or Drop Off Service is offered. Staff members are required to wear Face Masks and Gloves throughout the entire duration of your event. We will do our best to accommodate any other special needs required upon delivery.
Customized Menus
Costa Vida is able to offer a variety of menu options that fit most budgets. Most of our cuisine is Gluten Free. We also have Keto, Vegetarian and Vegan options available.
