Whole Heart Video

We were very set on having videography for our 11/2/19 wedding—we knew that once the day was over, we would want a way to relive it over and over. We were also very nervous writing a check, entrusting a stranger, and hoping that everything would turn out perfectly. From first contact with Ben, I knew we were making the right decision. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. He was so easy to work with the year of planning. We were surprised with an unwelcomed snow storm two days before our wedding that covered the beautiful autumn-colored golf course in snow—not exactly what we had imagined. But Ben refused to let us be disappointed. He braved the cold, ran all over to capture every moment, and found a way to bring so much beauty out of a blustery cold day. I had several people ask how I knew him, since he blended in like he was one of our close friends. He didn’t miss a moment, but never felt invasive, and kept us laughing so nothing felt awkward. The finished product was everything we hoped for and more. Ben is the man! We got married on 04/05/2019 and we waited until about a month before to book with a videographer. Biggest mistake, Ben should have been booked right at the beginning. What he created for us is priceless. Ben captured the most beautiful moments and words from our Wedding day. It is such a treasure to have and we are so thankful to Ben for it! You invest so much time, energy, and money into planning this day and Ben captures all of that hard work in motion for a lifetime. We had decided that we didn't need a videographer for our wedding (rookie mistake...) and then decided that we did with about three weeks to spare. We loved Ben's work and upon contacting him, it just so happened that he had a cancellation and was available for our big day. Needless to say, we could not have been more pleased. Ben was very responsive, open to all our ideas, and genuinely cared about what we wanted out of our videographer. On the day of, he was extremely flexible and made everyone involved feel at ease throughout the process, as having cameras all over the place can be kind of overwhelming. Everything about Ben is amazing, he is not only a wonderful guy, but a professional and truly wants your day to go perfect. He is so easy to work with, get in contact with, listens to everything you want, is a blast to play around with ideas, great prices and goes above and beyond in all aspects before and after the wedding. He knows his stuff and makes a piece of art yet still capturing alllll the moments. The transitions were smooth and we were in love with the teaser, highlight and feature. So glad we even got the raw footage. The day of Ben was so much fun, got along with everyone, enjoyed the party and everyone at the wedding said he was s involved and that they thought he was just another guest enjoying themselves (just with a camera in hand at all times lol) From the first contact I knew Ben was just a great guy, and I know know why he chose the name Whole Heart... he puts his entire heart into his work while I got to put my entire heart into the rest of my life with my husband. Ben was an awesome addition to our vendor team - he made the process super easy for us, and was incredibly prompt in delivering our social media teaser, as well as drafts of our highlight video and feature video! He was great during our wedding day - I noticed him getting the pertinent shots, but I never felt like he was in the way of me and my husband or of any of our guests. He was willing to work with our budget, and I still feel like we got an excellent product! More...
