Make sure to vet your investigators since it is possible that the only private investigators who started practicing in Colorado after licensing expired have undergone background checks and are members of the PPIAC. Investigators at True Lies Investigations were licensed from 2017 to 2021 and possessed either a level 1 or level 2 private investigator license at sunset. All our investigators are experienced, never having received any DORA complaints when DORA regulated private investigators. The principal Investigator is licensed in New Mexico and Texas.***

Founded in 2016, True Lies Investigations is 100% woman, minority and locally owned. Over the years, female private investigators have become very popular. We believe women have a distinct advantage in this field since the average person does not expect a woman to be conducting investigations, especially those of undercover or covert nature.

There are many occasions where female detectives prove to be invaluable. If you need an investigator to follow a female or check on children, many clients say they prefer a female because they appear much less suspicious. In surveillance situations, female detectives can often find it easier to follow male subjects because they are less suspicious of her presence and this increases the probability of success. In gender-specific situations, a female investigator may have access to an area a male investigator does not.
