I recently started coming to this restaurant, and I am super happy with it. If you like sports, it's a cool place to go. In addition they also have some games like pool, darts and others to use as entertainment. This place has amazing food, and good drinks. If you are wanting to watch sports of any type, this place is great. We have visited this location a few times to watch hockey games, especially during the cup finals, and it has never been any problem to get them to put on the game you want. Attended an event for a dear colleague of more than 30 years at Third Base today. I had never been. I was impressed with just how nice and cool the staff was. We went here for the UFC 239 showing. Cover was $5. That was pretty cheap in my book. Other spots such as twin peaks would be $10 and hella crowded. So we actually got a table for the showing, bar seemed spacious and good vibes all around. Our server was quick, and kept up with the tempo of the place. We ordered the wings, if y'all are going this route, I suggest getting the 24 ct, you essentially get 6 more wings and paying for 18. Perfect cause we had 3 people with us. Anyway. Really liked this place. I'd been meaning to come here for almost a year but never had. Sat at the bar. Nice ambience at lunch time. I basically had bar food: house-made "Cajun tater tots" stuffed with andouille and crawfish, and a Cuban sandwich formed as an egg roll. Both were inventive, creative and delicious. Living in South Austin, this is one of my favorite places to go. Why?  Because they have a lot of TVs, they have ciders, and I can take my son here.  It is like Buffalo Wild Wings without the wild, if that even makes sense.  My son likes the wings and I like the cheeseburger, Mahi tacos, and grilled chicken sandwich.  The cons to this place is that for UFC nights, they usually charge a cover fee, they seem to always be understaffed.  If that is not the case, then the waitress is just slow.  I don't think I have even had the same waitress twice when we go and I sit in the same spot every time ("Excuse me, you're in my spot" - Sheldon Cooper).
