Great breakfast! Only problem is today (8/4/2019) was the last day of service. They still have the restuarant at the airport so stop on in of travelling.

I am writing on the last day it was open- It was a great place- We have many good memories there, including a baby shower, and just meeting with friends. Brunch was always good, without exception.Dinner was great too. The biscuits were amazing...and if you are visiting, you are still in luck- their second site is open at the airport...but you have to get through the security line first. More...

CC is one of those places where I have good solid meals and always leave satisfied but I rarely think of to go out of my way to dine at.  Unfortunately they will be closed after August 4th.  While the fried chicken is what most people order, I prefer the wings... especially the honey mustard wings, which doesn't really sound like a good combination but it is one of the better wings I've had in town.  I really like their Arnold Palmer here as well... they use quality lemonade and their tea is nice and strong without being too sweet.  While I don't go to CC all that often, it was cool that a bunch of the staff there seem to have been long time employees there, which tells me they take care of their staff.  Not only that but the staff here are super friendly and polite, which isn't the norm for Portland. I'll miss this place but will probably make more of an effort to go when I fly out of PDX More...

I waited too long to go here - I needed this sooner in my life. Delicious drinks, yummy appetizers (pickle plate please! ) and the fried chicken was soooo good. My friends had the chicken fried steak and loved it. I usually try to stay away from restaurants with a lot of hype but this one deserves it. Eat there. More...

I had the skillet fried chicken meal, which included hand mashed potatoes with country gravy and collard greens. Was the meal fancy? No. Was the meal something I could have made? Yes. But, it WAS a hearty, homemade, comforting meal that really hit the spot! I tried the deviled eggs (smooth as butter), the German pretzel (homemade and not from Costco, like another restaurant serves) with mustard-cheese sauce, and the chicken & corn chowder (thick and with complexity of flavors) and all were delish! We’ve eaten there a couple times and absolutely love the food and atmosphere. My son and his girlfriend came from Louisiana and just had to go there because of Diners Drive Inns and Dives. We were not disappointed

This was an amazing find! We used it for a family luncheon after a ceremony. It seats probably 30 people. We were about 20ish. They customized the menu and served it beautifully.
