Ate Christmas Eve dinner here. Not a specific 7 fishes menu but lots of options. Amazing food. Very comfortable. Joe was our waiter. He was wonderful. I'm a tea drinker and he never forgot about me. I had many refills. LOVE THAT. This was a perfect evening. Wonderful Italian food. Home cooking. Thanx. More...

Delicious fresh food, doting and conscientious servers and wonderful owner who serves meals herself. Hands our one of the best Italian and we drove all the way from center city. Very accommodating for someone in our party with gluten dairy and garlic allergies - the gluten free pasta was delicious. The chicken parm was also fresh and the sauce was homemade. Great spot and caring staff! More...

We got delivery to our hotel room. The food was delivered on time by the nicest guy who offered to help me carry everything to the pool area where the rest of my family was waiting. The food was hot and tasty and the French fries were even still crispy. My kids each got a personal pizza and it was fantastic. Highly recommend this place! More...

We can see why most reviewers give Taormina's a 4 star review-what's not to like. Service was great, it's a BYO, and the food above average. Fresh bread with a small plate of roasted red peppers/onions was brought to the table as we reviewed the menu. We both went with the Cavatelli pasta (the Gaetano and the Mare Emonte). One had broccoli rabe and sausage, the other clams and calamari) Both were not only delicious but gigantic! With 2 side-Caesar salads the bill came to around $40 before tip. A close-by table had 2 pizzas that look fantastic. Another reason for another visit. More...

My mom and I decided to try this place because we were looking for a new Italian restaurant to go to. This place also had a deal going for buy one entree get one at half price - on the day that we wanted to go out. When we first arrived the hostess was on the phone so the counter girl helped us she asked us if we had a reservation. It was as Tuesday I wasn't expecting needing a reservation but I found out why they asked as the dining room is very small. Cute but small. Their menu isn't very large but they had a good selection. The prices were a little bit more expensive than usual places in the area especially since it's not served with a salad. We did get yummy bread with a plate of peppers and onions. My mom ordered chicken parm which she really liked and I ordered chicken asparagus which was chicken, shrimp, asparagus, scallions in a cream sauce. It was very tasty - not what I was expecting but you could tell it was all made from scratch and that it was very good quality. It came with a side of penne which was okay. Overall I definitely want to come back and maybe try an actual pasta dish as that's what everyone around us had and it looked very good. Everyone working here was super nice as well - our waitress, the person who took our drinks and even the bus boys. Definitely want to go back and try again. More...

First off. BYOB. Cannot beat that! Service was great. Quick and she was super knowledgeable. Second. Vodka sauce was delicious. Like maybe the best I've ever had. Third. Complimentary bread with marinated peppers, soooo good. A little loud, so wouldn't recommend for a first date or something. But love love loved it! More...

Friends have been saying that you must stop here. They weren't wrong. Very nice Italian restaurant that is a BYOB. The mozzarella tower is fantastic. Wife had the salmon in a honey glaze, I had the gnocchi in a red sauce. Both dishes were great. People around us had the pizza and that looked good, will try that the next time. Staff was very friendly. Give it a shot. More...

I am confident to say that this is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Every single dish I had here came out so tasty. The complimentary bread and roasted peppers are a plus as well. Two of my favorite pasta dishes here are the "cavatelli gaeatano", which has broccoli rabe and sausage in a garlic and olive oil sauce, and the "linguine frutti di mare", which has seafood in a white wine garlic sauce. Both dishes are pretty light, since I'm not a fan of heavy cream sauces. However, I had their vodka sauce here and it is pretty good as well. They really load up on the seafood if you get a seafood pasta dish. Again, I love the food here and have been returning pretty frequently to get my Italian fix. More...

What started out as a very akaward experience ended up being a great meal. When we arrived, we gave the hostess our name and she rudely acknowledges us. 10 minutes later she comes up to us and asks us if we were a take out order. Immediately I sarcastically say no. We waited a few more minutes and finally we got seated. After that I had low expectations for this place and was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. We ordered the shrimp avocado appetizer. It was amazing! I ordered the salmon special ( salmon with crab, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and spinach). It was absolutely fabulous!! I asked for them to reduce the amount of butter in the dish. The kitchen did just that, and, honestly, I can't imagine that dish with any more butter than the reduced amount. We cannot wait to come back. More...

Our experience started not so great. Order was not correct, but once they realized it after a back and forth phone conversation and I declined a credit for our next order they agreed to remake the large white pizza, which had been sent as a regular pie. Once we did receive the white pizza with ricotta and spinach it was awesome!! Very tasty and good fresh stuff!! Loved that!!Wasn't too happy with the personal pizza with peppers and mushrooms. They seems a bit like they cane from a can since there was so much moisture on the pizza. It was ok taste wise though. Also appreciate the fact that the owner went out of her way to make it right after they originally messed up the order. Another example of fine customer service!! DIG IT!! We did!!! More...

This is a great spot for some really good Italian food. My father-in-law loves to take us here for dinner and the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating as my father-in-law can be a bit demanding at times. Also since my office is located down the street we often times get meals from here and it's never disappointing. It does get quite busy so plan ahead and make reservations early! More...

This is our go to restaurant for Italian. Its BYOB which I love. The food is truly outstanding. Last night i had the Risotto Christian, beef tips, shrimp, asparagus, with all the flavors. The risotto was cooked to perfection. My fiance had the cowboy steak. It came in a delicious wine gravy with thinly sliced vegetables. We ordered the buffalo mazarello tower as an appetizer. Its slices of mozzarella and tomato wrapped in prosciutto with drzzled balsamic glaze. The bread is always warm and crispy served with roasted red peppers and onions. For dessert we split the limoncello cake. Every bite had a wonderful crisp lemon flavor. This place continues to rate 5 stars. Fantastic food and excellent wait staff! More...

Had my first bad experience here on Friday night. Very rushed meal even though we waited 15 or 20 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated. Food very good as usual but no ice bucket for our wine and we barely had time to breathe between courses. We will never go back on a Friday again. Still giving 4 stars because the food is great. What can i say. We ( 4) had to wait a little even with a reservation. But it was on a Saturday nite and I can see why. The place was packed! The hostess politely apologized and we were seated. Well worth the wait. The food selection was great. Our orders came out really fast. The food was fantastic, hot, and just the right portions. BYOB also.We have eaten here several times with great results. Family run and well organized kitchen.Minus one star because it is somewhat noisy with a full house. I recommend an off nite or maybe not at prime time if you want real privacy. More...

Was there Saturday night. The food was excellent as usual, however, we sat next to a table of 18 and the noise was out of this world. We couldn’t hear the waitress or were we able to talk to each other. We would of walked out but we weren’t alone. Just an idea. Only have huge parties on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Whenever I am in the Philly area, I don't seek out those cheesesteak sandwiches....gimme a decent Chicago Italian Beef any day. When I am out here, I seek out the sloppy loaded NY style pizzas, in particular the Grandma's pie. We ordered food delivered and I tell you what, I loved their version of grandma's pie. Fresh roma tomatoes, garlic, fresh mozz and crust soaked in virgin olive oil. Quite frankly that's one of the primary reasons I don't mind visiting the Philly, New Jersey area. They got good food. Taormina was a pleasant surprise of deliciousness for take out this past weekend. We did a sampling of pastas: cheese ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo. Both were good (though more pepper on the fettuccine would have been welcome). The tomato sauce with the ravioli was simple but delicious. We also had the portabello mushroom and fresh mozzarella salad, which was tasty. Lots of tang with the bruschetta topping, but substantial and well done. For mains we ordered an eggplant parmesan platter, which a side of penne. The eggplant was lichtlu breaded and thin sliced and not too cheesy or oily. It was really good. We also tried the Brooklyn pie, which was a thin crust grandma style pizza. One of the better pies I've had in this part of PA. More...
