What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
There's a method to the music... The most important thing is being able to read people. There isn't one formula for music, what works at one event to get people on the dance floor might not work at another event. Sometimes it's the Cha Cha Slide, sometimes it's Sinatra and sometime's it Jason Derulo.... reading people that's the key. :)
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I'm hands on. I like to meet the person or people I'm working with. I can usually tell by talking to someone what type of event it's going to be, but when I meet you in person that's the real tell.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting the chance to celebrate every mile marker in life! I'm blessed to work with the girl turning Sweet 16, the recent graduate, the couple excited about their wedding and starting life, the General retiring from the Air Force and the couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary- a true testimony of love. It's such an honor to be a part of that big day in someone's life, so I want to make sure it's the best it can possibly be.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been a radio personality now for over 15 years and music is just a part of my soul. It was just natural for me to combine my love of music and people!
