We were looking for something different today in need of caffeine and hoping to find a new spot for it. We arrived at the classic old storefront location in downtown Richmond. The aroma of coffee tickled our noses upon opening the door. We were warmly greeted and after perusing the menu decided upon a cappucino and the farmhouse breakfast sandwich. As we waited we enjoyed the old metal ceiling the rustic brick wall and the antique ambiance that seemed to be everywhere. The canning jar lights above the espresso machine were a nice touch. The cappucino was perfect. The 20oz with 4 shots is recommended for the coffee aficiando. The espresso has those dark chocolate notes that are so warm and elegant. The "farmhouse" was excellent with the smokey notes from the bacon and the tangy cream from the cheese. DELICIOUS..A MUST VISIT More...

Nothing is more pleasing than enjoying a delicious Bee keeper latte on Saturday morning. Thanks Purdy's, for being a new favorite tradition between myself, and my daughter. We have tried the BtL salad, the pollo salad, the chicken salad sandwich, a delicious cinnamon roll( covered in cream cheese icing, and yes of course the bee keeper latte has become a craving of mine. The staff is polite, and helpful, the food is fresh, and delicious. While most recipes aren't loaded with ingredients, it's the quality, and how that pair together that really stand out. It's a great place for brunch or lunch. I love eating local and this adorable coffee shop doesn't disappoint. The drive thru makes it easy for busy folks to grab a tasty bite even on the run. More...

Stopped here Saturday around 4pm while driving from Chicago to Gatlinburg and looking for coffee spots on the Roadtrippers app. Staff was incredibly friendly and when we asked for recommendations among the specialty lattes, the suggestions were great--especially the one with bourbon and sorghum! Instead of taking these to go, we stayed in the air conditioning and let the kids play Uno for 15 minutes. Definitely worth the extra 3-4 minutes it adds to your trip rather than going to the chains by the highway! More...

What an ideal quaint small town coffee shop! Very tranquil and a great place to relax and have a Beekeeper coffee drink. Kara was so helpful and full of energy!!! They not only have great coffee, but also some pretty good food. I've had a couple of their sandwiches and they're pretty tasty. This place is fantastic. Delicious food and pastries, great atmosphere, central location, helpful staff and of course great coffee. Don't come in here if you're in a rush however.
