My Wife and I always go to Perry's Steakhouse for our Anniversary so we decided to take my Niece and her husband to Perry's for her birthday. I asked for a simple parmesan crust on my filet and was told he would check with the chef....steak came out with no crust. I wasn't told they couldn't do it and if I wanted another crust. I had the white chocolate flaming cake/icecream....the cake was stale. It wasn't that great and overall not a great dessert selection. Waiter didn't bring bread even though I saw bread being delivered to tables around us. First time there, not sure it will be my first choice when wanting a nice steak dinner. More...

We ordered from the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. The food was beautiful, sizable, and delicious — we thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to at least one, maybe even two, great follow-up meals at home. Service was extremely pleasant — in fairness, a bit slow at times as there were obviously other tables also needing attention, but nothing serious for us, as we were enjoying our time. The atmosphere/ambience are always excellent. And even the valet parking service deserves mention — the ability to alert them via text when we're ready to go means no waiting and is very convenient. It's obviously not cheap thrills, but Perry's provides a dependably excellent experience every time — we're very happy they're here whenever we're ready for a special occasion. More...

I was very satisfied with the staff and I felt serving my guest and I was important to them. Although I started eating at Perry’s in the early 90’s, when their first location was a “butcher shop/restaurant on Scarsdale. This was my first visit to their more luxurious location in Sugarland and I was disappointed with the ambience because of the noise level. We were seated in a booth across from another booth occupied by a family. It was easier for me to hear the wife’s conversation than the one at my table. The food was excellent. We ordered a 3 course dinner from the HRW menu. We were 4 people -- three of us ordered the bacon wrapped fllet which was wonderful. Soft, tender, and tasty. One person ordered the pork chop, which is a specialty of the house. It was tender and tasty and huge! In all it was a very nice experience. Service was leisurely, but attentive. The room seemed a little more noisy then usual and we had to speak loudly to hear each other. Other then that, it was a real opportunity to socialize and enjoy a fine meal. Music was loud and unwanted...loud 70's rock? Why? Waiter was very good. Steaks cooked perfectly. Snapper was served with truffle oil. Both plates had much too much truffle oil, and neither guest finished 1/2 of his/her meal. Salmon was also perfect. Crab mac and cheese was very good, but the lobster mac was not as good. Lobster gets chewy and fishy when overcooked. This was a nice dinner before all 4 kids leave for school, but it has definitely been better--almost perfect--in the past. The atmosphere was great.My wife and I are traveling throughout the Houston area taste testing restaurants.So we visited your location during restaurant week. The staple item the Pork Chop was brilliant in flavor and presentation,we ate that for 2 days,however the steak well done which I assumed was blackened by the use of butter was actually burnt,but I was still able to taste some great flavors in the steak and actually ate 3/4 of the cowboy bone in Ribeye.The whipped Potato whipped me they were absolutely delicious as so were the salads.The desserts were passable although one had that refridge taste which came across as old.We enjoyed Perry's and will return on another date nite.Thats as candid as I can bethank you More...

I went to Perry’s for Houston restaurant weeks. I had the iceberg lettuce wedge (they switched blue cheese dressing and crumbles for ranch), the double pork chop and the white chocolate cheesecake. All of it was incredible! If you like pork ribs or pork roast the double pork chop is out of this world! They carve it for you to separate the ribs and rib meat, the top and the filet in to different pieces. It was all good but the rib part was out of this world.
