I had an amazing experience with Open Air Designs ! From the beginning of the process , with my phone consultation, LeeAnna made me extremely comfortable with her friendly personality. She made me very aware and informed of all the prices and made sure to give me the florals and look I wanted while remaining perfectly in my budget . On the day of the wedding , the flowers were delievered on time and the girl who delivered them for me even went downstairs to the wedding venue to help me check on my cake which was late and supposed to be delievered prior ! That was awesome . And the bouquets and arrangement which was put on our arch was absolutely beautiful . She listened to my exact wants and the flowers came out better than I could have imagined ! LeeAnna and Courtney did the MOST AMAZING job with the flowers for my wedding in September! Since I was from out of town, I sent Open Air Designs some pictures and explanations of what I was looking for since I couldn't find a picture of exactly what I wanted. They created the most beautiful bridal bouquet that was better than anything I could have imagined! I loved it so much that I want to get the same bouquet each year for my anniversary! I am a local resident in Clearwater and got married here at Sand Key. I wanted a simple, beachy boho vibe and chose Open Air Designs to make a flower crown for my head, floral hair piece for my sister, and boutonnières for the groom and his brother. We also wanted a floral piece to put on the wedding arbor at the beach for an added touch of color. I sent inspiration photos from Pinterest and left the rest to LeeAnna. Everything turned out absolutely perfect and I felt so beautiful wearing my flower crown all evening. We used Open Air Designs for our wedding flowers and were so happy with the results!!! I wanted a beachy boho vibe with a flower crown for my head instead of a bouquet, a hair piece for my sister, and boutonnières for my groom and his brother. We also wanted a floral piece to hang up on our wedding arbor for the beach wedding, all in a summery orange color to match our theme. Everything came out perfect, especially my flower crown!!! Open Air Design was the BEST choice we could have made for our wedding florist. LeeAnna was so warm, detailed, caring and mostly creative with our vision of the wedding flowers. We knew we wanted a Bohemian theme and what our colors were and from there I left it in LeeAnna's hands because I trusted that she would blow us away.....what she actually did was beyond anything I ever imagined. Open Air Designs was a life saver for me. I'm staying at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort and booked a photoshoot to redo some wedding pictures. I thought I'd have enough time the day of to go somewhere and pick up some flowers. I did not. When I realized I'd need some flowers delivered on the same day, I knew I'd need some local help. The concierge gave me their name and I called at 2 pm, needing a bouquet by 5:30 pm. I didn't care what the flowers were as long as they could get here in time. I went about getting ready for the photoshoot and as I'm thinking, "I hope the flowers get here," boom! There was a knock on the door with arrangement in hand. They were beautiful and much more than I deserved on such short notice. I talked to Courtney on the phone who was very polite and helpful. The flowers even had some ribbon on them as if they were to be used in an actual wedding. They were some of my favorite flowers too! Lilies and tiger lilies in purples and yellows. So, I was looking for something in my price range (low) to send to my uncles viewing service and decided on a silly "Peace Lily" plant since flower arrangments were pricier and die in a few days anyway. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it at the service! It was spectacular! It was fresh and beautiful and stood tall and proud amongst all the other flower arrangements. I ordered a simple bridal bouquet for my destination wedding with white roses and other white flowers. They delivered them to my hotel on time at the requested delivery time. They gave me advice on how to keep them fresh until the ceremony time. The bouquet was well made and wrapped on the bottom to keep them hydrated, however some of the edges of the white roses were a bit wilted at the time of arrival. Not a big deal though, not very noticeable. When comparing their prices online to other nearby florists, their prices seemed a bit lower. Overall I was satisfied. More...

The staff at Open Air Designs were amazing! The flowers were beautiful designed, delivered, and set up perfectly. My bridal bouquet was absolutely breath-taking; they tied a small framed photograph of my grandmother and her brooch around the stems of the bouquet. I used several of their rental items; farm house tables, benches, antique chairs, large lanterns, and large vases for the ceremony. I was thoroughly pleased with every single detail! I have heard raves from my wedding guests about the atmosphere that was created with the rental pieces and flowers.
The wedding planner was attentive to my wishes and carried out every detail with professionalism, creativity, and genuine concern for me! The best day of my life was made even more beautiful than I could have imagined with the gorgeousness that Open Air Designs contributed! More...

As I am in Maine  I went on line and looked for a company in the area. At Open Air Designs they were very accomodating, they made the delivery that same day. This is the second time I have used this florist and I don't know how they did it but they surpassed the earlier arrangement they did and that one was AWESOME, TOO!  This time I asked for a tropical arrangement and JoAnn did a beautiful arrangement of orchids, lilies, bird of paradise, roses - JUST MAGNIFICENT!!  The girl it was given to just burst into tears when she saw it.  You can't get much better reaction than that!!  Thank you again to everyone at Open Air who helped in creating such a memorable experience with their out-of-this-world creations!! The bouquets were pretty & the flowers were fresh. The 2 large alter arrangements that we paid $125 each for, were of very poor value. There were hardly any flowers in them-mostly greens. Not what we were promised.
The flowers for the cake were not labeled, therefore we had trouble finding them when the cake was delivered. We paid $50 for very few flowers. We would have been better off having decorated icing flowers. More...

My boss sent me on a trip here to get flowers for a co-worker's birthday. I looked on their website for pre-made bouquets and although everything listed was reasonably priced compared to other florists, it was still out of our limited budget. So I headed  there to talk to them in person and see what they could do for us.The building itself is very small and a bit old, but the customer service, quality and selection offered here make it a fantastic place to get a custom bouquet or plant. Ruth and the other professionals at Open Air Florist were incredible. Our daughter wanted a truly vintage theme with nothing that looked "canned". The baskets of flowers abd garlands that were created for the ceremony were fabulous and were exactly what the bride requested. The boutinnieres and bouquets were equally as impressive, and in total synch. with the day's vision. Open Air worked literally up until the last minute because we added several more vases of flowers for the tables at the reception. I was also impressed with the fact that the owner visited the ceremony venue at least twice to get a "feel" for the theme we were trying to create. I was so pleased with the modern style that the florist took with my flower arrangements. They gave me the most for my budget. When things were made smaller to be more affordable the detail was not sacrificed for it. They were punctual and gave great ideas that fit to what I wanted.
