I like this place I got this video of myself at my grandmother house house my grandfather James Hall birthday my Uncle Mario Hall has it but my brother Vincent Carter is going to ask him if I can barrow or if he still has so I can edit the one of scenes where myself is in the party from the footage so I can put it on my YouTube accoug of my playlist cause I am going to order Newspapes from the year I was born 1991 and day other stuff on YouTube these are my ideas its all myelf Deonte so I got to do it I want to do it I remember all myself growing up with memories its Deonte now that I am grown I want to get it all done thats the kind of great person I am and always has been then and now forever and ever more.

Mr. Geo has been teaching animation skills to children and youth for decades. His classes empower his students with the confidence needed to continue their pursuit for careers related to the field of animation beyond the classes at the studio. Children and youth under his tutelage have been able to have their films entered into competitions and many completed projects obtain copyrights.

Can you imagine the feeling a child/youth receives when the actual copyright document containing his/her name and film production reaches his/her hand? My son, who is now 26 years of age, was one of those film makers and copyright recipients by age 9. He continued to study fine arts throughout high school and in college. As a parent of an artist I was more than happy to support my son and the other young people who attended classes at GAVA/GATE Animation Studio.

Both my kids took classes from Mr. Geo. What I loved about his classes is that he gave the students tools to do the animation, but left the "what" part completely up to each one. He has a way of helping yet giving space for their creativity, their thoughts and ideas. The resulting pieces aren't his work--they are completely, 100%, the students

So many classes have pre-planned projects--yes, the student moves things or assembles things or pours one liquid into another. But few give a person the opportunity to make something wholly their own.

My 12 year old is really into animation these days -- and cartooning! These are great classes and a great community for kids. The cartooning and animation skills he is picking up are really useful to the game development and coding he already does at the local MakerSpace.

The friendship opportunities are so profound, especially for kids that tend to be a little introverted and might otherwise be inclined to exclusively do project work alone in their rooms. What a great place! Mr Geo has really put his heart into being a good adult in the lives of these kids. More...
