I don't even know where to begin with how thrilled we were in hiring Bud Maltin Music!  From the beginning of the process till the end of our wedding night, they were extremely professional and really fun to work with! Not only did they listen and react to the tone and type of music my wife and I wanted, but they were also there to help guide us through what made sense given our guest list.  They set up multiple calls to help us determine the best music for each piece of the night and let us have the flexibility we needed.And oh yeah, they also can freaking play like no other! We had a band + dj combo and it worked out perfect for us.  A lot of people say on your wedding night you won't remember a lot of the music, but Bud's band was so great that we are still talking about them today!  We cannot recommend them enough and we are letting all of our friends and family know they are a must-hire for any of their upcoming weddings. We met with Bud after getting a recommendation from a friend who attended a wedding they played at, and boy are we glad we did! ! Bud and his band were AMAZING. There really are no words. They were so easy to work with up until the wedding and were able to accommodate various requests that we had. They even worked with my husband to plan him bringing his guitar to play a song for me at the wedding. Bud even tuned it up for him that day and everything! Everyone we spoke to that night was in love with the band and commented on how amazing they are. Everyone was up on the dance floor all night long, from the time of our first dances until the last song, the dance floor was never empty. Bud and his band made our night so much more special than it already was. They also played our ceremony music beautifully and as soon as they started to play, I began to tear up. The musician who played during our cocktail hour did an amazing job as well. The music never stopped and neither did the dancing. They also do an incredible hora, and my husband's non-Jewish family keeps commenting that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and loved doing the hora! I can't thank Bud and his band enough for making our wedding so amazing and would absolutely recommend them to anyone having a wedding or other event. Bill Galbo of Metropolitan music worked with my husband and I for our wedding, and we could not have had a better experience! Bill was personable, professional and flexible to work with as the wedding approached. He met with my husband and I near our work to discuss the wedding and preparations. We collaborated on music preferences by sharing a Spotify playlist and filling out an inquiry form he provided. He also took the time to create two special tracks for us: one was a slowed down version of Love Me Now for our first dance and the other was a mix of three songs for my dad and I so that we could dance to Thriller during the father daughter dance. When I explained what my dad and I wanted to do, he really nailed it by cutting a track just for us! Working with Bill was a pleasure and easy.At the wedding Bill and his musicians played live music during dinner and did a DJ band combo for the dancing part of the reception after dinner. They were fantastic and talented! My husband's favorite was their Billy Joel. Our guests gave us so many compliments on the music! Perhaps most importantly they really knew how to read the room to keep people on the dance floor. They played one great song after another and managed to reflect our music tastes. Our wedding was amazingly fun, and they helped keep the spirit of the evening in full swing. We would recommend them over and over again. When my fiance and I left a Bud Maltin showcase at Smash Studios, we knew they were our band for our big day. With a crew of incredible talent and wide knowledge base of songs, they killed it on our wedding day. Our guests kept raving at how awesome they were and asked how we found them. Bud and Bill were super easy to work with and fast to respond to any questions we had. They also welcome any song suggestions and recommended great songs when we didn't know what we wanted. Bud, Bill, Belinda, Anthony, John, David, Frank, Dean, thank you SO much for making our special day truly memorable!Con:Only qualm was that some tables (which were placed next to or behind the main speakers) could not hear a thing or talk to each other because it was so loud :( Those tables had to move to the other side to hear the speeches. Wish sound tests were done and made sure all tables could hear OK. More...
