Gelder V and his crew is a 5 star, another Gardner at another rental of ours, not so much, hence the 4 stars.The service in Berkeley Hills is professional and executed well. I have been using LN for a year now and sad to see them closing the business. Â Putting the existing gardners in touch with owners, - exceptional customer service.I did not like the price structure change that management implemented and the change in service that accompanied the rate increase. This was a great online service, matching people up with good gardeners who showed up reliably every time and for a reasonable price. Â Due to lack of funding for expansion the company has recently announced it's closing down which is a real shame, but for a year or two we were loyal and happy customers! We were between gardeners and received a postcard for this service. We signed on straight away and never regretted using thus clever and convenient gardening service. We've found the services in Marin county are so overpriced and do nothing more than blow the dead leaves from one end if the yard to the other and never pick up the detritus. I've been using LiveNeighborly via their ap for about 9 months. The team they dispatched for our property is spectacular. We live on an acre of land on the a Lafayette/Walnut Creek border that hadn't been maintained since the 80s . Â The crew has diligently worked on the landscaping and slowly but surely made the entire property natural and beautiful. I think the best thing about this company is that you can do everything online. I hate having to be home for a gardener. I bought a lock box so they could enter my back gate and I get emails every time they come. It's really nice because all of The Gardener's around here mostly speak Spanish and I can't. So I had things cut back too much or they mowed the lawn too frequently. I go on to my account and I just write notes for every appointment and I just do it all for my kitchen since I can see my backyard from there. I think the service is good for people who need something to be taken off of their shoulders. It's automated and the customer service is good. More...

I have nothing but praise for the LiveNeighborly service I have received. Â Norberto and his crew work hard and are experienced enough that they know exactly what to do. Â For example, they held off on trimming one of our plants while it was in bloom. Â When we have asked them to focus on particular items such as removing an unwanted plant, they have cheerfully complied. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Â 2 gentleman came out and made quick work of our overgrown rosebushes! Â We ordered a deep clean for our first service and they did everything we wanted. Â We should be able to do a 1 hour a month from now on! Â Very happy! Love that I get an email and a text notifying me of when they were coming. Â Our backyard looks like new! I was hesitant to try this service like any start up there will be bumps in the road but I was very unhappy with my current service provider. Unreliable, often didn't show, unable to reach so I thought what have I got to lose?I've now used the service 3 times...could not be easier to use and schedule. My provider VICTOR ALFONSO MEJIA-LOPEZ arrives as scheduled, on time and spends a full hour in my yard (which is very small) I think maybe 15-20 minutes was the most that was spent in the past.They even make recommendations for the next service. This is a fantastic service. Â Everything is arranged on line and through email. Â Very efficient, friendly, affordable and they do an excellent job. Â I would give it six stars if I could. LiveNeighborly went the extra mile to make sure I was well taken care of and happy with my service-- Â really above and beyond. I think the concept is great, love the level of communications, and their system of scheduling efficiently makes great sense to me, as does being able to communicate what you want done if you're not there. I'm too new to give a longterm evaluation, but this much I can say--everyone involved in this service is really great to work with.. You can schedule regular service or go on an as-needed basis--that flexibility is useful. And they do their best in turn to have the timing work for their customers. More...
