I am so glad that we had a family photo session with Julia. She was so relaxed that it made the session easy. And that's saying a lot with a 2 and 3 year old. My little guy does not smile a lot for other people so I was prepared to accept that we might only get serious photos of him, but Julia got him to open up and show his adorable smile! Julia is phenomenal! She is so sweet, so patient and great with kids. We did a quick family photoshoot at the beach. The weather was not at our favor thats why it was quick but she still managed to get really good quality shots and manage my two toddlers. I couldnt speak more highly of her work. Julia is THE BEST!!!! As a NorCal bride-to-be that grew up in SoCal, my wedding vendors' list was incredibly limited. I spent many late night hours on Instagram and I can't even tell you how I came across Julia's page. I can tell you that I was drawn to how beautiful her photos were! And I'm so incredibly happy that we went with her for our engagement photos. Regretfully we only booked her for our engagement session (we are getting married in SoCal), but that didn't stop Julia from being incredibly attentive to our requests. She was still so sweet and so eager to help us. We had to reschedule a few times due to the tricky weather we've been getting the last few weeks in the Bay Area, but she was readily available to accommodate our busy work schedules, on top of being a busy mama. When we finally met, Julia was sooooo sweet, despite the freezing temperatures in SF this afternoon! You can tell she is just one of those genuine, down-to-earth, kind souls that it's hard to come across nowadays. And omg let me tell you - although she is little, she sure is mighty! She champed through the chilly air and maintained such a positive attitude during our session (meanwhile, I was marching around like a grouch pathetically hating my life because of the weather). She was so easy to work with and made us feel at ease, which is important because I'm super awkward in front of the camera. My fiancé and I will be using Julia again when we decide to have future photo sessions for our growing family one day. I cannot say enough about Julias excellent photography. Â She was our photographer for both our engagement session as well as our wedding day. For the beginning engagement photos, both my husband and I were very trepidatious about having our picture taken, but Julia instantly made us feel comfortable and the pictures turned out amazing. Â As for the wedding day, Julia and her husband captured everything we could want. The photos are beautiful, energetic, bright and romantic. Exactly what we were hoping for. Julia was incredibly responsible, responsive and helpful in the whole process. She answered all my questions immediately and her was always available. Â Throughout the process she even sent my husband and I a beautiful journal as a gift. That type of attention to her clients really makes a difference. Julia is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. My husband and I are so happy we chose her as our wedding photographer. Her portfolio of weddings, engagement sessions and family shoots are BEAUTIFUL. We instantly had to contact her right away when we came across her work and she got back to us pretty quickly knowing how busy she is! She was very accommodating towards our hectic schedule which we really appreciate. She has some great package deals so if you really want to get your money's worth and have the most beautiful moments captured on your special day, look no further! She is the one. When my husband, our son and I had first met Julia, it's almost as if we've known her forever. She made us feel like we were hanging out with one of our long time friends, lol. We felt very welcomed, comfortable and Julia made sure we had fun at our engagement / family shoot. Julia has photographed my daughter, granddaughters in Yosemite and the Bay Area.
Her pictures capture the sweet nuances my daughter loves.
For a young mom its great when she actually gets to be in the pictures too.
She just finished shooting my best friends wedding. The few I saw so far are beautiful.
She will be shooting Matthew and Yvonne, so they can use a photo on a Christmas card to mail to Germany in plenty of time.
Julia is professional, comfortable, and friendly to work with, and a God given talent for taking great pictures !!!!

Julia is super sweet and awesome! (: My sister and I did a shoot with her (including our dog), and she got such pretty shots of us!
In fact, I think Simba (our dog) got the cutest shots (LOL!). Julia is very responsive, professional, and fun to work with! The overall experience was wonderful, and I am literally changing all of my profile pics for various social media to the shots that she took :D Plus, we discovered a new park in Hayward that we didn't knew before if it wasn't for Julia's suggestion.

This was our first time taking family pictures outside of a studio and I must say I am very happy with the results. My sister in law Mary Ann told me about Julia so I checked her out on facebook.
I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw and soon set up the appointment.
Julia is surely a master of her craft. She is an easily likable person and her time and location ideas are great for folks like us who have no clue on what to do. She knows how to catch the right angles and has great ideas for poses.
I am very happy to have met her and we will be requiring her services for family photos in the years to come.

Julia is an amazing photographer and the absolute nicest person. She made the entire process such a personal and stress-free experience, we loved working with her! She really works with you to make sure you're getting the pictures you want for your special day :) An example of her amazingness: due to our crazy schedule, she was able to accomodate our engagement session the week of the wedding and have the pictures ready for us within a few days! For our engagement session and day of the wedding, she made everything so easy by posing us and giving us suggestions while making us feel comfortable the entire time! I love the relationships! This job has created many meaningful friendships and I wouldn't trade that for the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I fell in love with photography, and want the time freedom to serve my growing family.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe I'm the best value in the area! I'm great at making clients feel comfortable in front of the camera, which results in very meaningful photos. Also, my session fee is much lower than surrounding photographers; I believe great photography should still be affordable.
