I have never heard of this place before but our local friends brought us here for Sunday brunch. It was originally a seafood joint now turned cafe style. I loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant. They surprisingly have a parking lot, so no street parking unless it's packed. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the biscuit sammy and a side of fries. The fries were delicious, huge, and super filling. The sammie was equally as good. My mom got the mac and cheese, which was very cheesy and worth while. What was surprisingly delicious was the pancake my sister ordered. She got the Japanese Vegetable Pancake. It had fried egg, soy bbq sauce, nori & bonito. Whatever it was, it was GOOD.I assume everything on the menu is as good as what we all had. Some of our party also got fish & chips, the blueberry pancakes and caprese toast. The service was a bit slow at the beginning but everyone was very friendly and patient. More...

Definitely one of the best "accidental" finds I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were going to a dog shelter nearby and wanted to grab a bite to eat first. After zooming in on the map I found interurban and we decided to give it a shot. That was a month ago- we've been back three times since. First, the restaurant is so cute. All decorated with a nautical theme, a full bar and lots of tables. Our server, whom we've had multiple times now, was kind and attentive and always gives us a friendly hello when we stop in. The food was what really blew us away. Even our simple, basic breakfasts were something to rave about. We also split a Mac n cheese and ended up ordering a second to bring home because it was so delicious. And be sure to try one of their homemade pop tarts! Every flavor is amazing but strawberry with vanilla frosting is by far my favorite. More...

My wife and I helped a friend move some stuff into storage nearby and we wanted a quick bite after we were finished. I had stopped into IB once before for a coffee and pastry so I remembered they had parking and food for lunch and dinner available. We were all thrilled with our lunches. Everything was fresh and tasty and we didn't wait long. My burger was perfect. The coffee is really good. I just wish more people would come in and fill this place up. It's totally worth it. More...

My boyfriend and I had been passing this place so many times and didn't realize until recently it's a cute little restaurant! We finally set out to try it and came here on st Patrick's day. The inside is so cute and inviting and there's tons of natural light which was refreshing. I had their smoked salmon plate and it was delightful!! We also shared a homemade pop tart which was also incredibly tasty! They have a full bar so I will defiantly be coming back to try out there drinks. This place is so easily missed but is such a gem! I was sad to only see a few people inside besides us but this may have just been because it was a holiday. We will most def be returning. Oh also the staff was so friendly! I'm not sure if the two men there were the owners but they were so sweet!! 10/10 food and service! A must try hidden lil gem More...

What a hidden gem! Sad to say I've driven past this spot for months without noticing it. Skimmed Google Maps for a new restaurant one Saturday afternoon and decided to stop in for dinner. Was warmly welcomed by the attentive staff and had a genuinely fantastic cocktail--a spin on the Old Fashioned called the Life Boat. Didn't expect pork rillettes or a delicious salad of shaved brussels sprouts, mixed greens, parmesan, toasted almonds & lemon vinaigrette when I drove up, but these guys definitely know what they're doing in the kitchen and everything was awesome. Great spot and will sure to be back! More...

My hubby and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. Seriously talented chef and owner Christine McCabe helped us planned a great menu to offer about 40 of our family and friends. The menu had a nice mix for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and pescatarians. Some of us had religious dietary restrictions (no red meat) that day, the salmon dish hit the spot for me. Dessert from the pastry display was also a huge hit! Everyone enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere! The waitstaff was super attentive to our needs as well. Also, the restaurant has a parking area with FREE parking-- super helpful for large groups.Since then, hubby and I have been back for date night. The salmon and fish n chips continue to favorites for us... in addition to the entire pastry display case! More...

This place may be off the beaten path for now, but it's a delicious little Lincoln Park neighborhood spot! Right on the river and tying with their theme, it's a cute space with great food! We didn't eat like normal humans and of course ordered more than average to try it all! (Still things I want to go back and try!)We had Muesli to start which was really good! It was topped with sliced apples, homemade granola and pomegranate seeds! The hummus and pita chips were homemade, simple and yummy! The breakfast sammie was on a flaky, buttery biscuit and melted in your mouth with the cheese! The Japanese vegetable pancake was so different but really good!! It wasn't oily and the vegetables were cooked right. Looking forward to going back again soon! More...

Just ~slightly~ off the beaten Bucktown/Lincoln Park path but 100% worth it. Had an incredibly delicious (and pretty healthy! ) dinner here. Honestly, the salmon was probably the best cooked salmon I've ever had. The interior is adorable, and the service was very friendly and helpful! Added bonus: All the desserts we ate there, as well as ones we took home were all delicious and NOT TOO SWEET(a rarity in the US). Double added bonus: Hop across the street on Cortland bridge for a nice view of the skyline. Can't wait to be back to try their brunch! More...

It was VERY quiet when we went there for Sunday lunch. Easy to park, very bright inside, the music wasn't too loud. The man who waited on us was friendly and helpful. He had no problem with us lingering for a while until it was time to head to the theater (we were taking in the 2:00 performance of Blue Man Group). I learned about the place from an article in the Chicago Tribune which mentioned the blueberry pancakes. I ordered those and they were great. The restroom was large and very clean.Overall, just a nice place to visit. I'd definitely go there again. More...

The restaurant was not as crowded as it should have been considering how outstanding the food is so go and support this hidden gem and keep it in business until Lincoln Yards development startsOnce you go then write another review.
