We enjoyed the peach tart with almond frangipan and coffee. The tart was better than it looked, in fact delicious! The coffee was good but refills are $1. A bit pricey if you didn't consider the view. Look at it as if half of the payment is for the view which overlooks the harbor with all the boats! (I gotta say - my view is better than my wife's cuz she's in mine!) Only 4 stars because presentation of the $7 desserts is not the best. More...

Love,love,love this special place for a vacation treat.  Everything we have tried from here has been OUTSTANDING, but what is even better are the owners.  Kind, social, and ready to engage.  Last year we stop by minutes before they closed and wanted to indulge in a dessert, but had plans for dinner and didn't want to leave the items in the hot car.  Lucky for us they had work to do and invited us to stop by after dinner to make our purchases.  And so we did!  YUM!!  Put it on your list to swing by and taste for yourself. I stopped here after a day exploring the island and oh my I am so thankful I stopped! It's kind of hidden and you have to walk to the side of the harbor where the boats are to find it! Once inside it's a small cafe, but don't let the size fool you! They have so many deserts and pantries to try! I wish I could have tried everyone but... I'll be back! I had a croissant and it was to die for! The lady working had so much knowledge of the island and gave me some local tips. This is one of my favorite bakeries ever!!! The pastries are as authentic to French quality sweets as you will find in the US. The assortment is excellent and the flavors and textures are superb. WOW!!! Super friendly staff and amazing pastries!  We stopped here after reading some other reviews and were not disappointed. We purchased 6 different tarts and pastries for a dinner party we were attending, they were so good we went back again because one of the guest loved it so much she got up in the middle of the night to polish it off. The chocolate (anything) were fantastic, as were the fruit and berry tarts. I'm a fan of strawberry-rhubarb and theirs is among the best I've ever had (reminds me of my grandmothers recipe). My girlfriend had a Almond croissant and stated "this is absolutely the best thing I've ever had!"Everything is about $5-7, so don't be surprised. So yummy! Very clean, good customer service. No menu letting you know coffee prices or variety, you'd have to ask. We went late morning and they had plenty to choose from and it wasn't busy. Not super easy to find but worth it. It's a little pricey but to be expected based on where it is by the Marina. I got the chocolate croissant and it was amazing. My husband got the almond croissant and it was super yummy too. My daughter got the chocolate bluff and she really enjoyed it. It was really rich but delicious. Definitely worth a stop. I am a huge fan of croissants and this is the best I’ve ever had by a long shot! Their flavored croissants were great, but please for the love of everything order a plain butter croissant and it will change your life! I live a two hour drive away and am constantly fighting urges to drive down just for them! Their locations is also spectacular as they’re right on a marina surrounded by beautiful, enormous yachts! Located on the harbor side of Shelter Cove Marina, the bakery is found once you park in the lot across the plaza and walk past the huge maritime sculpture toward the water. I was curious about its strange name until we entered the bakery snuggled in along the marina next to a seafood restaurant.Bakery: delicious display of breakfast, lunch and dessert items, plus self-serve coffee bar. I can personally attest to the mouthwatering blueberry tart and banana bread pudding. My family stopped in here for lunch last week after reading Yelp reviews. The food was excellent! I was concerned it may be a little too "hoity-toity" for our kids, but it wasn't at all. The shop is relatively small and located near the docks of Shelter Cove.There wasn't a HUGE selection, but there was enough to find things for everyone, including pastries. After traveling to Paris a dozen times I became addicted to the French croissant and baguette. Not at all to be, even remotely, confused with the American croissant. For a while, I tried a fancy bakery here or there. Occasionally finding a delicious product that somewhat soothed my longing for a French croissant. But alas, something was always missing. Perhaps, it was in need of the love for culinary perfection, the attention to every detail, the strictest of measurements, the finest of butter, the perfect room temperature, or just the magic of a French chef I'm not even qualified to guess! Best birthday cake ever!   For my grandfathers 86th birthday we were having a special party and we wanted a special cake.  After speaking to Philipe we were so excited about all of his ideas with mouses, berries, cake flavors and decor .  When we picked it up we were blown away by how beautiful it was and the time he had spent - the edible flowers had so much detail!!  Our friends and family all said it was the best cake they had seen and most importantly tasted.  Well done! This is my favorite bakery on the island. I got the bacon & potato stuffed baquette, which was phenomenal. Plus, it's only $9 and comes with fresh fruit and a scone. The iced coffee was fantastic, and they also added a pump of caramel syrup for me- for free! The staff was really friendly. To finish it off, I got the coffee eclair. Incredible desserts, great variety of baked goods, super friendly staff! Bought a lava cake, a pastry called a Kiss on the Beach (chocolate mousse and raspberry mascarpone on a hazelnut macaron) as well as some financiers and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was wonderful! The owner was so kind and warm. She even gave me advice about how to stay safe on the bike paths and fretted that she couldn't spare enough baked goods to send something home for all 13 of my family members on vacation with me.
