Came here for brunch one weekend, we were quickly greeted and seated. Make sure to check in to Yelp app for the freebie! First off, the black coffee is great here. For appetizer we ordered the brisket poutine. Interesting how instead of gravy, it was cheese. We scarfed down the entire dish.For my main dish I got the breakfast sandwich-which came with bacon, egg, hash browns, and a croissant. All excellent and great portion. While there was an extensive amount of pastries to get, definitely stop by the front to take a look. We got the almond whiskey croissant to go, it was very good! Galiana's is a super fun place to go to, I am feel bad that not too many people know and go to this well established food joint. The breakfast is typically very good, I got a sandwich croissant and let me tell you that the croissant was some good flakey croissant goodness. On top of the cheese and breakfast sausage, it was a great breakfast.Also if you sign in with yelp you get a free coffee or pastry! My daughter's brunch wedding was yesterday. It's not always easy to get people up and dancing in the middle of the day. CJ did a great job! ! The music was perfect. Recently good friends of mine from Cypress Texas recommended Galiana's Bakery & Cafe for breakfast.So, here I am expecting another typical coffee shop but to my surprise it was much more than I could possibly fathom. Not only do they have a Barista prepping special select coffees but dedicated pastry & baking chefs with creative ideas that cure insatiable appetites!So far I have made three appearances just for breakfast and I must say that I can't wait to try the lunch menu next!My hats off to the Staff, that is...from the General Manager, down to the Servers and Hostesses for making a pleasurable dining experience! While still in town visiting family. I returned to sample more of the menu. Had the French toast, Which was very good and bacon. I prefer my bacon burnt, Not crisp..Burnt,! Visited at about 9:00 on a Sunday morning. Best French Toast I've ever had PERIOD. My mother got an omelet (not sure which) but it was stuffed full of meat - they don't skimp. The breakfast potatoes were decent. My mother raved about how good the coffee was. The service was great and the inside was clean and modern.
