The pools are excellent. The locker rooms are clean enough. I love the adult swim teams. The lifeguards are usually not watching pool and sometimes asleep.

My family and I love this facility. The new LED lighting in the pool area is wonderful. Its so much brighter and I feel more energetic as I am swimming. I also love the increased water temperature in the leisure pool. I appreciate that a great deal. I also love the instructors at this facility. They are knowlegable and professional as they work to prepare swimmers with the life saving skills they need in and around the water. My family and I will continue to come to Freedom Center for lessons and classes. I am a huge fan of the variety of programs Freedom Center offers its members and the public. More...

Just moved to Manassas and this is by far the best gym facility I've seen in a while. I may be biased because of the large indoor pool. Definitely the biggest I've seen from all the other gyms in the area. They have a jacuzzi, slide, dry sauna in the women's locker room possibly the men's locker room as well. An array of group fitness classes, kid-care, preschool, summer camps, etc. The strength training room may be small for some but it is still a nice size. Indoor walk/running track, plethora of racquet ball rooms, basketball courts. Memberships are well priced and open to the community even though it is a University facility.Customer service seems to be run by some GMU students but I haven't had any issues as yet other than confusion on the type of swim lessons that are offered and when they are being offered. Nice facility for the Tri It Now 14.08 yesterday. Big intimidating pool, would be a great place to practice swimming on the regular for folks in the area. I'd come back.

This group has gotten so much better at insuring that the lap lanes are available to folks who want to lap swim. It used to be that people would just hang out in the lanes and no one could swim. I was even able to get a lap lane during a busy swim meet ... something I could never do before. Great job! More...

I've been participating in the swim exercise classes and I love it. I've been attending Monday through Friday! I love the classes and the staff, from the folks at the front desk to the lifeguards, and the instructors. This is a great place!

The pools are really nice. The only problem is that the diving boards are NEVER open whenever I go. On the website it says that the diving board hours are on weekends from 1-4, but when I go at those times they aren't open even when I check for other things going on at the same time and nothing is.
