We used Esposto's Catering for a recent reception after a memorial mass for a family member.  Kate could not have been more helpful in making appropriate menu recommendations based on the time of day and type of event.  We ended up with a hot pasta dish, antipasto platters and roasted vegetables with biscotti and lemon bars for dessert. David delivered the food, set up the linens and buffet table, beverage station, etc. and remained throughout the event replenishing the hot dish and monitoring the beverages.  He was a huge help. Our office used them for a taco lunch buffet and people were pretty happy. Loved the seasoned chopped chicken, and the ground beef was good too. Plenty of toppings including a roasted corn/squash mix that went a step beyond the ordinary. Warm tortillas were good. Thanks for catering our Breakfast at Tiffany's bridal shower. Everything from the food quality, delivery, setup was so easy. The delivery is well worth it. I found Desi amazing to work with, I changed the menu three times. They accommodated with no hesitation to ensure I was happy and within my budget. The guy who delivered ( I forgot his name). I want the team to know how amazing, efficient and nice he was. He informed me of party rental, on site servers and menu planning services they provide. I can't wait to use them again for my next event! I even referred them to our office for corporate catering. They work with you, are flexible, and the day of I didn't have to think about a single thing, they took care of everything. Used Espoto's this weekend for a graduation party for 80 people at our home.I was a bit nervous at first because I had a bit of a hard time getting responsesor what I considered complete answers from the office but it all worked out great. My server was Celeste and she was phenomenal.  When she arrived she completely took over the prep and literally took things out of my hands andsaid that's what she was there for.  She was great with the guests and everyonecommented on her professionalism and helpfulness. We hired Esposto's Catering because we got a really good referral from a friend. They catered our wedding. I have some food allergies and they were able to accommodate me. They went out of their way to make sure everything was right. Marizen was our coordinator for the event and she was awesome. She returned my emails within a day most times.  Our guest are still talking about how good the food was. I highly recommend Espotsto's Catering! They were budget friendly for sure. We used Esposto's catering service for a baby shower (guests of 50) and everyone complimented our decision to do so. Mariezen Reyes, our event coordinator, really helped us by listening to our ideas for the event and she put together a menu for us. Bless her tastebuds because the menu set was perfect. Not only did she make all our tummies happy but she communicated everything clearly in respects of the payment and what to expect on the day of the event. They dropped off and picked up the food and supplies at the agreed time. When they dropped off the food, they also set up everything for you which was another plus as I was running around putting decorations up. I kid you not, everyone asked me about who catered the event and everyone made sure to bring some food home. Once again, Esposto's did not let me down. Another wonderful event at Serra High School this past Wednesday Evening with our annual Fund a Dream event. As always, the food was superb, they fed 500 sit down dinner with in 37 minutes! food was hot and all our guests were raving.  Service outstanding and they are always so ready to help.The other part of their company is Your Party Rentals.  They came in and once again transformed our gym into a "ballroom"  Vic Esposto and his crew are amazing.  I did have parent volunteers to help with unloading etc, but the YPR crew were great.Clean up went equally as well.  Everyone should use Espostos and YPR!!!!Thank you Bill,Gabe, Vic, Desi and crew.......you are simply the best. Espostos Catering provided a Sunday brunch in our backyard the day after our daughter's wedding.  Espostos office staff was very easy to work with during the planning stages and provided good suggestions for the menu.  They responded quickly to calls or emails.  They provided tables, chairs, linens, and a buffet that could be enjoyed by carnivores and vegetarians alike.  We served huevos rancheros (or the guest's choice of made-to-order eggs) and chicken fajitas with all the condiments, as well as a fresh fruit salad, various coffee cakes, and a lovely green salad with cheese and dried fruit.   We misjudged the number of attendees.  I asked Espostos to plan for 75, and well over that number came.  Espotos charged me for 85, and they provided a fabulous brunch for every one of them!!    Many people provided unsolicited compliments about how delicious the food was. Kate and the staff at the brunch were unfailingly polite and cheerful.  Guests commented on how pleasant they were.  To save money, we asked if we could provide our own beverages and Espostos readily agreed.  For a reasonable fee they provided us with glasses, tables with linens, and tubs of ice, making our bar-tending job easy.  After the event, they emailed us pictures of the table set-ups and the food buffet, which I was grateful to receive. We just celebrated my husbands retirement (7/2013) and had Esposto's cater it.  We had them 21yrs ago to do our wedding and knew we had to have them back.  They arrived on time, set things up perfectly, added color to where color was needed and the buffet was presently beautifully.  We had braised beef, chicken piccatta & spagattini and all the salads.  Their food is excellent.  Everyone loved the spagetitini, delicious!  Gina Rose and her crew took care of everything and all I had to think about was having a good time.  Excellent service! I recently placed an order for a  birthday party and the food and delivery service was great! I highly recommend this catering company and the history of the company proves why they are still around in the Peninsula. .. over 50 years! The cook came prepared with the BBQ, all condiments and a friendly attitude. It was a great feeling when all of the guests complimented the food. Some of the foods we ordered: BBQ chicken, burgers, coleslaw, dutch crunch rolls, garden salad, and a fancy cheese platter and veggie platter. The delivery was on time and the workers were very friendly. Esposto's recently catered my wedding, and they did a fantastic job. First of all: The food. Though not over the top gourmet with fancy presentations, it was very tasty food.  They had a nice variety of food to pick from on their menu. We chose salmon picatta and a roast beef carving station, which was a really nice touch. We also wanted to serve some Indian dishes, and they actually found recipes which were quite good and made daal (lentils) according to a recipe I gave them. I might add they made several dishes for us to try free of charge when we expressed that we wanted Indian dishes. I also liked the fresh fruit they provided. My favorite item of the whole night was the tomato mozzarella salad they served on a skewer. I called it caprese on a stick. Second: Service.  We had passed appetizers and an open bar. The entire staff worked well together and with us, and made a smooth awesome event. It was 150 people at my house, so this was no small feat. I learned that when looking for a catering company to do an event like a wedding it is more than just the food, you also want to consider their service experience. Esposto's has an awesome record of events of all shapes, sizes and styles. Finally, I want to make special mention of Deserae. She coordinated everything before the event, and also acted as a wedding coordinator during. I didn't pay attention to the different detail elements of my wedding, like when the bride and groom are announced and such. She had everything together and did quite a bit of directing. She made my event flow more smoothly. We also used their rental company, YPR, for all of our rentals. It was more reasonable than other rental companies we looked at, and having everything coming from the same place made coordinating a lot more smooth. I found Espostos Catering after I had nearly booked another caterer for the BBQ at my reception. We decided to look one more time for some additional options. I am so glad we did. Kate was the most professional and easiest to work with of all the catering contacts I had previously dealt with. She was flexible and made great suggestions on substitutions.

We scheduled a tasting and were blown away with the salad, tri-tip and the bread. Espostos owns their own bakery, so bread is baked fresh daily, and it was incredible. We went with their cornbread muffins and dutch crunch rolls.

Esposto's had competitive prices for their menu, but by far offered the best value. They provide so much service to make sure your reception continues to run smoothly. I am so happy we chose them. More...

We used Esposto's Catering for one of our corporate events and they were a  pleasure to work with. Coordinating logistics with the team was extremely easy. Our building management needs all vendors to submit their insurance papers prior to the date of the event and Epostos had it done without error or hesitation, and to top it off, they didn't even charge us a fee for it! We've worked with a lot of vendors and Espostos has been by far the easiest to get in paperwork correctly and in a timely manner. The food was savory, hot and flavorful as well. They have an endless selection of dishes and the assortment we selected came out with perfection: Melon Wrapped Prosciutto, Phyllo Triangles stuffed with Spinach and Feta, Cheese Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Roasted Rosemary Chicken, Italian Braised Beef, Tiramisu and more! We just had Esposto's cater an after-funeral reception. Desiree  was wonderful to work with, she helped us stay within our budget and pull this event together within a very short time frame.  The food was delicious and plenty of it and the replenisher/server was helpful and courteous. 3 words:AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!!I used their services a few years back and remember them being good.  I almost forgot how good they are. Today, they catered for a 300 person company picnic.  They were wonderful all around!  The picnic started at 1230.  They were there at 1030am to set up.  They were on time, super friendly and helped with all kinds of craziness.  I can't remember how many times I thanked them for helping me with other things that had NOTHING to do with what they were serving.  Items included:  refilling drink buckets as they got low, finding bowls/platters for chips and dips I brought, finding suitable areas for the drinks and for cookies.  Helping me get heavy items in and out of the cars.  NOW onto what they were hired to do: cook delicious food, keep the food trays full, make sure everyone got what they needed, were super professional.. the list goes on and on.  No one saw how helpful they were to me but that's ok.  I make the calls when it comes to catering and I saw how they were.  The most important thing is that everyone at the picnic LOVED the food.  They had plenty of vegetarian options and were really good about keeping things separate.  They worked with what we had (trust me.... it wasn't easy) and never missed a beat.  In short, everything... was just about perfect. Esposto's in an amazing catering company with first class service.  We have hired them on several occassions and each time the food has been delicious, the servers were wonderful and the price was good.  We recently hired them for my mom's celebration of life party and they took charge to make the whole thing stress free for my sister and I.  They booked everything and sent me a quote within a few hours of leaving their office. Everyone raved about the food (and the tremendous amount of it) and we had tons to continue to enjoy later.  They came and set everything up beautifully with linens and their staff is great.  I would absolutely recommend them and will continue to use them for years to come. It was my first time ordering company lunch catering from Esposto's, and we were all delighted with their food and services. Gina from Esposto's is really helpful and friendly, so as the delivery and catering setup guy called Lian (if I did not remember it wrong...my bad!). They provided full buffet trays and setup services, as well as pick up service afterwards. They kept the food in a professional warming unit and the pasta was so fresh, hot and yummy! YES, if one is doing pasta delivery, they should guarantee it is hot upon arrival, and Esposto's definitely deliver well, more than expected! Lasagna tastes good and full of vegetables and mushrooms. Esposto's has been catering events for our family for over 30 years and we recently hired Esposto's to cater our wedding at Stern Grove in San Francisco.  They did a magnificent job in providing amazing food, service and event coordination.  We worked with Gina to put together a menu and the only difficult part was deciding which kind of food to provide since they offered so many delicious things. They provided all of the linens, dishes, cutlery, and servers and their rental prices for additional items were very affordable and good quality. Everyone loved the cheese display during cocktail hour and my guests still talk about how much they enjoyed the food.  Stern Grove is a difficult place to host a large event because it requires a lot of work, but Esposto's made it easy for us and knew the location well.  The staff was very polite and efficient and I highly recommend Esposto's to cater your event. We hired the Esposto's to cater our wedding (200+ guests in downtown SF) at the end of April 2011, and the experience from start to finish was a truly stress-free pleasure. Gina, Gabe, Desiree and all of their family and staff provided outstanding support for us. My wife and I had multiple meetings with the Esposto's, including a menu tasting at their San Mateo restaurant, where we feasted on a number of excellently prepared appetizers, salads, and entrees, which were provided based on our initial input on their menu suggestions.  The Esposto's took all worry and stress off of our hands, which we really appreciated considering the amount of other lurking variables we had to deal with when planning our wedding.  Communication by phone and email throughout the planning stages was top-notch.  All costs were reasonable and I would highly recommend their services if you are interested in a truly personable and customized experience.  I have hired the Esposto's for several BBQ events (80-100 guests) and can attest that they are extremely flexible, and can cater any size or style of event with the utmost attention to detail.  Last but certainly not least, their food is excellent!  Our wedding guests provided numerous compliments on the menu quality as well as the courteous staff.  I can say with confidence that the Esposto's were a critical component of our wedding day and I would recommend that any couple seeking caterers for this very important service for their wedding day could do no wrong by meeting with the Esposto's and considering their services.  They will bring a very special touch and attention to detail to your special day that you truly deserve. I had a dinner for my son's football team and their coaches at my house on a Friday night and knew I wanted to order the food. I contacted Esposto's Catering in somewhat of a frenzy worried about the amount of food I would need for 70 starving football players. Their staff assured me I would have enough to feed the boys and they didn't let me down!We served Ceasar salad (it's the best - the shaved parmesan and homemade croutons are a great touch), pasta, braised beef, bread and butter with cookies/brownies for dessert. We just used Esposto's for sandwich trays and salads this past weekend. The food was ready on time, they even called to remind us it was ready. Recently I contacted Espostos Catering/Deli to cater my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I contacted them because they came highly recommended by family, and friends who have used them in the past. Now, I too will recommend Espostos to anyone who is looking for good food, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly staff who confidently takes all worries/concerns off ones shoulder, especially when it comes to planning a party as special as a parents 50th wedding anniversary.
