I love MKE Pride so much. I've had nothing but good experiences and it never lets me down. The only complaint I have is how inconsistent they are with getting back to people. I was told I'd have my meet and greet pictures within 2 weeks, but I still have yet to receive them after 3.5 weeks. I wanted to post the pictures for pride month and now I won't get the chance. I love pride. It’s the only part of living in Milwaukee that I enjoy. My son has a blast, and so do I. It teaches him o be himself regardless of his bullies. It’s a place where I show my pride, and see wonderful people finally able to be themselves unapologetically. It’s family friendly, and pet friendly. I have been going to Pride Fest with all my friends for years now. About 10 years now. The events and music are insanely incredible and so much fun. Lots of things to do! However the edible pickings are sparse and overpriced. There's one live stage featuring some big names like Jussie Smollett (from TV show 'Empire') and '80s famous B-52s. The other is live DJs and hosting competitions w/ drag shows and strippers! We saw it all in about a half an hour then just circled the park, left and are elsewhere. Overall a little disappointing! But the admission came down to $13. No regrets! More...
