Crema was absolutely wonderful in catering our wedding cake – the Irish cream cake is to die for! After going to one of the cake tastings I was sold, I didn't bother to try anyone else! Jessica was great to work with. Please note that she is the boss and also baking your cake, so be patient, it is worth it. I am so happy we had crema. EVERYONE loved the cake and macaroons. We saw an advertisement and thought, "let's check it out!" To our very welcomed surprise, we were greeted with a bevy of gourmet cupcakes, cookies, cake balls and pateries. As we glance at the coffee menu you'll notice more options than Starbucks (plus they have chai tea lattes!). After our coffee order, dozen cupcakes and a few cookies to take to-go.... We stopped in for dinner and were really pleased with the delicious food we ate! The portions were large and very filling. We got the tomato soup - yum! After struggling to choose only one item from the menu, it all sounded so good, I decided on the Carnitas Benedict. Savory Pork on a Toasted English Muffin with Avocado, Poached Egg and topped with Cilantro-lime Hollandaise Sauce. This is my FAVORITE FAVORITE PLACE IN AUSTIN. There are lots of choices.... breakfast lunch you name it. so this is big! Everyone, every staff is welcoming cheerful happy to serve... talkative and funny. They get the job done. They are like your happy cuzins you just love to visit or have over. So enough about the folks.... THE FOOD!!! I’m a picky eater very annoyingly selective. The omelets, brioche, their poached eggs Benedict’s and their fantastic savory twists and options is UHMAZING!!! Vegan tacos and their SALSA!! On point! Ok about the pastries ...SERIOUSLY! WOW!! Delicately prepared. Even gluten free items...their own coffee syrups. I can go on and on...

Stopped in for coffee one afternoon and the barista was very friendly and offered a great drink recommendation. After glancing at their brunch menu I was determined to come back. We just went to Crema for Mother's day brunch which is always notoriously crazy everywhere, and we had a lovely time! They were well staffed, were sure to kindly warn everyone that it was the "brunch Superbowl day" and waits would be a bit longer, and invited everyone to take several bites from the very large tray of pastry samples to help ease the wait. We got our delicious coffees right away, and the food came surprisingly quickly. It would have been worth the wait though! My Benedict was perfectly cooked and we all nearly cleaned our plates. One of the baristas even happily refilled our coffee cups for us. Despite the crowd, it never felt rushed or frenzied and the staff were all super positive which goes a long way on those days! I love Crema, the cake balls are so good. Yummy food too, sometimes there is a wait for.food.if busy. Too many people use the tables for working for long periods of time and can limit spaces to eat.

I've been meaning to stop here and I'm so so so glad I did. I love bakeries and it's not everyday I can choose between multiple gluten free offerings.

The available macaroons were banana with chocolate creme, rose with rose creme, and vanilla with orange creme. I bought all three and couldn't eat them fast enough. The rose macaroon was possibly the best I've had in my entire life but the flavors and flavor combos of each was out of this world. Perfect consistency, perfect ration of macaroon and filling. Crisp, but soft in all the right places. (I think I might go grab a few for breakfast).

The chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting was delicious but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't just had three huge amazing macaroons immediately prior.

My capuccino was exactly what I needed to finally feel awake mid-afternoon.

Customer service was excellent, decor and the space in general was inviting and cute/comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. More...

Great find in an out of the way location. Terrific pastries served inside or outside the cafe. I'm a long time Starbucks drinker but believe the coffee here to be much better.
WiFi available but you're asked to be considerate of others after 2:00 and not spread laptops and papers on the small tables. Very pleasant and bright environment. More...

This is a top notch establishment. When you look at the menu you know that this a place where food matters. I would rate this cafe highly as my experience met my expectation. It's nice when the decor while basic belies the fantastic treat that lies in store for you. I am from Ireland and I went there with my daughter who lives in Austin.
She and her family will make this a regular on their list.
