Holy Sh*t this shop is cool. First of all, I really enjoy the "homey" feel of the shop. It's in a historic house in downtown renton and it's beautiful in there, it's got a really cozy and comfortable feel. Though the paperwork can feel overwhelming, I appreciate how the shop educates their clients about the risks involved of getting tattooed. Chris was my tattoo artist and he was very professional and considerate when discussing my idea. His overall enthusiasm for the piece had me stoked to get the work done. Chris did a great job at making sure I stayed comfortable during the entire process and the outcome was mind blowing. Looong overdue but if you’re looking to get a super professional, super detailed, expensive looking and extra badass tattoo I’d definitely go here. Took me about 2 years but once I came across this shop it blew all the other shops from Puyallup to Seattle out of the water. Got my whole sleeve done by Chris and been getting at least 5-10 compliments a day for his work. The shop itself is great with people like Collin, Michelle, Kelsey, and my guy Chris. I am so glad I found this place for my tattoo. I'm currently getting work done on my upper arm by Michelle's apprentice, Kelsey Blake. She is such a sweetheart and takes what she does seriously and you can see and feel the passion she has for this art. I've had 2 sessions with her and so far so great. I'll share the finished piece when it's done!The rest of the artists - lil Chris, Colin, & Michelle (the owner) are so welcoming and absolutely hilarious. Michelle was with Kelsey and I a majority our second session and it was full of laughter which is always a welcoming distraction. You can tell all the artists, especially lil Chris, care about Kelsey's work and want her to be the best she can be and give her advice whilst she's tattooing.I 100% plan to be a loyal customer and don't plan on going anywhere else for my future tattoos. I've looked at portfolios in Tacoma, stopped by shops in Auburn, Bellevue, Seattle, so on and so forth because I had this amazing idea for my sleeve and for over a year, struggled to find "just the person" to make my idea a reality. No matter where I went, I was never confident in neither the artist or the shop to pull off my idea...until I came to Sacred Soul. From just a single walk in, Michelle was able to take a look at what I wanted and IMMEDIATELY tell me the artist in the shop who fits my style for my realism design. (I was already impressed by how helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable the staff was considering I've gone to places that didn't seem stoked to have me walk in and weren't naturally personable.) From there on out, Chris, my artist worked his magic and I've been back 3 times with another appointment coming up! The whole team, Steven, Collin, Michelle, Kelsey, and of course, Chris, are SUCH a talented group of people. I'd trust any of them to do QUALITY work for me and overachieve my expectations. Not only do they take the time to give you high quality work, but they collaborate, advise you, and take the time to know you which is above the standards I've received at other places. Every time I come in for an appointment, I end up wanting to book another on my way out because it's worth every penny. For someone who doesn't even "review" places, I feel like Sacred Soul deserved above 5 stars.**if you do come in, Chris does amazing realism designs, collaborates with you, does amazing detail, and I can't stop getting compliments on my arm everywhere I go. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I help my students and clients to reach their goals by maximizng their workouts in the short time we have together. If its 30 mins or an hour of training, we are putting in the work for that entire time we are working out.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
I have always followed these three things “eat good, train smart, work hard.”
If you fuel your body properly, you will perform your workouts efficiently. That hard work rolls over to your job and then back into your training. Keep that balance and you will achieve your goal.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to motivate and help my students build confidence. Over the years, I have found that training martial arts, as well as strength training, are great ways of building self-confidence and also improve one’s health.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2019, my Coach at Renton Martial Arts asked me if I would like to help part-time teaching Muay Thai. After a few classes, a couple students ask me about fitness tips and how to improve their health. A couple months went by and I began to see my students grow not only in their Muay Thai technique, but in their health as well. The sight of this is what really made it click for me that this is something I was meant to do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I consider myself more of a workout partner than a personal trainer. Not only do I provide all the equipment needed and bring it your location, but I’m also doing the workout with you the entire time. I believe a coach should be there along side you rather than behind you.
