Carrie is outstanding. I've secured her to shoot my wedding (YAY!) and I cannot wait. I'm constantly checking her blog, because she has the best tips for Brides (and Grooms! ) that are so helpful.. She really knows her stuff, since she's done so many weddings and her tips are invaluable. I'm going to refer back to it for everything detail I plan for my wedding, that's for sure. She touches on everything. She has done our engagement session already, and it was a breeze. She picked a great location, and gave me great direction on wardrobe suggestions and the images turned out stunning. They really capture us, and we were so comfortable the whole time. I personally don't take great photos, but I love every image. She knows angles, poses and how to get real expression out. Top notch. I cannot recommend Carrie enough. She came highly recommended through our venue, Forever and Always Farm, and I am so glad I listened. From our first phone call through receiving our full gallery, I was happy every step of the way. Carrie was helpful through all the small details that I didn't know what to do (her husband even helped us decide on the men's suits!) and was a gracious person beyond being an amazing photographer. Carrie is a true professional with an incredible eye for a beautiful photo. She's patient and instructive, which is vital to maintain the sparkle in your eye during a photoshoot if you aren't used to being in front of the camera. In the past, I've gotten frustrated or insecure and it definitely showed in my face, but that's not the case with Carrie. She knows what she's doing, and she's very vocal about how amazing the photos are coming along. High quality gear, and even higher quality results. Don't book with Carrie if you want JC Penney style shots...she's an artist, and she will provide you with beautiful art. More...

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding at Forever and Always Farm. We got so lucky that Carrie and John were available to photograph our wedding. They are the best husband and wife team out there! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Anyone can point a camera and take a pretty picture. It's all about the connection and the way you treat them. Making your clients feel comfortable in front of the camera is so important. Also, know how to pose a person in a flattering position and to be hyper aware of angles and poses that fit each individual.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are their goals for their session? We really like to get to know our clients on a personal basis, for example, if a potential bride and groom come to us we want to make sure we are a right fit for them. We use our blog as a way to educate them on the timeline, first look options etc. We also like to scedule a meeting or a Skype chat to get to know them and for them to get to know us.
What do you love most about your job?
Seriously whats not to love! We get to travel to beautiful locations. Meet amazing people and even document the biggest day of their life. We are honored that we are chosen to be a part of it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My Son, He was just too adorable not to take pictures of. I then became a little obsessed with learning about photography and the connections between tthe camera and light.
Why should our clients choose you?
It is up to them to see if we are a good fit. But overall be a constant in our editing, deliver in a timely manner and are always professional.
