Thank you Miss Angela for letting my vegeterian husband experience soulfood. Your vegan gumbo was off the hook. He said it reminded him of his homeland dish called Sindhi curry. I am not vegeterian and I loved the seafood chicken gumbo. Good portion of shrimp and chicken and okra not over cooked and not heavy on the salt. Angela's Best Gumbo in the Hood was a amazing and tasty vegan alternative to Gumbo! The other two reviews below are a bit off in that I can see having to wait a long time for their food or perhaps paid more than they believe it deserved to spoil their appreciation for the care and love you can taste in her cooking!
