Jack and his methods came at just the right time. Â Our puppy was frustrating us to no end, with teething, biting, running away, etc. (all puppy behaviors). Â Jack came in and in one session adjusted our techniques so that the dog knew who was boss. Â Jack went away. Â We continued to do "our best", but the dog took control again. Â Again, we called Jack. Â Second session, and the dog is back in line. The training is for us, not as much for the dog. Â And boy, does it work. I have a French Bulldog Alfie who is very strong willed. I was having a tough time training him.  Jack came over. He taught him how to walk correctly right by my side, no pulling, no barking at other dogs. We walk now every day and it's completely enjoyable.  Alfie was also having a problem barking at house guests that came to the door. Jack took care of that in the first hour of meeting him.  I also love that anytime I have a problem with my puppy he is willing to help.  I just got a new puppy and  I will definitely be using Jack's help again More...

I was raised in a home with Labs and have had Golden Retrievers for the 50+ years since. After recently taking in a new 8 week old pup, I soon realized the training methods I have been using with success were just not connecting with this incredibly head strong alpha. Then I found Jack! Â After much observation and questioning he zeroed in on what the underlying problem was and why she did not want to accelerate into the most basic excercises as most pups do. One week later I have a ten week old girl who is responding with eye contact, enjoying brief training sessions, and most important enjoying the bond now being forged between us. A pup full of confidence to learn and have fun doing so. Jack's knowledge is unmatched as is his way to view a dog and take all his experience to identify behaviors with the modification needed in a positive way. I have a 1 year old Aussie and tried 2 other trainers for a few issues I hadn't been able to correct, with no real success.  Literally 1 session with Jack gave me the tools I was missing and made a night and day difference with leash walking and my pup's reaction to other dogs. 4 more sessions provided additional tools. If I lived in the area I would be meeting with Jack every month or so. Walking her on a leash is now very enjoyable and no longer a tugging match or stopping  every few steps (for leash pulling) for the entire walk (the stop every time she pulls method did not work for us). Jack is THE BEST!!!!!! After trying everything under the sun to contain our anxiety ridden pit mix, she tore up all our wooden shutters in the house, I googled " dog therapists" and Jack's name was the first in line. I called him, he let me know he would meet my dog and evaluate the situation. He indicated he wouldn't waste my money or his time if we were not willing to be on the program with him. I immediately liked his honest approach! He met with us and our dog, was quick to analyze and evaluate the situation, took so much time talking to us about her anxiety and REALLY cared about finding resolve to our situation. After 4 sessions, I can honestly say we have a new dog. She is well behaved, more secure when we leave the house, has not destroyed anything and is able to walk by other dogs without going after them. We owe it all to Jack's patience, support and encouragement! He responded quickly to all our calls and texts, he was extremely flexible with time frames ( we both work full time) and most importantly, made our interaction with our dog so very positive. The best lesson we learned was that he made us aware of our inconsistencies which, when modified, ultimately helped so much with our dogs behavior. Jack is great. Â Seriously. Â We went thru one trainer before Jack and it was awful. Â After one training with Jack, we knew he was the one for our dog. Â We have a large breed puppy right now and it's been important for us to set the right expectations for the dog and our family from the start. Â Jack's not going to sugar coat anything. Â He knows dogs and has been training them for years. Â Look him up, he's one of the most respected dog handlers and trainers out there. Â Definitely recommend. More...
