We have used A Catered Affair Omaha a couple times for our office parties including our holiday office party at our house. They did such a great job that I decided to use them again for New Years Eve party. Because they closed a bit early on NYE I had to be strategic about which choices that I could refrigerate and bring out at party time. They helped with all of that. Their delivery and pick up is great and suggestion how to set up the food at the table is always helpful. They also made coordinating the alcohol and other table rentals easy! My husband and I have always left weddings feeling like to food was just “ok”. Not good, not bad, just food. A Catered Affair did my cousins wedding and we knew the minute we ate the first bite that we had to hire them. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Not your average catered food. We had so many compliments on how delicious everything was. It was hot and fresh and everyone left stuffed. Kathy and her team are incredible. They treated us like family. Kathy is super easy to coordinate with in every aspect. From the initial food tasting to the decision making, to the final meeting and our actual wedding day, she was there without hesitation. My husband and I were so pleased to have worked with A Catered Affair for our March 2018 wedding. We were initially very impressed at the tasting, both by the food and by Kathy. Throughout the planning process, they were responsive to emailed questions, and it was easy to set up the few in person meetings that we needed. Some caterers try to nickel and dime you as your date approaches, but we felt that A Catered Affair’s pricing and policies were very appropriate. On the actual day of the wedding, they did not disappoint. Their team arrived at the scheduled time, and we hardly noticed them there. Many previously married couples said that we would not get to eat at all at our wedding, but their team ensured that we did! They brought us a plate of appetizers back to our photo area while guests were at cocktail hour and brought us our dinner plates just as the buffet line began (also right on schedule). Their team checked on us a few times to make sure that we had enough to eat (and to bring us some cake!) without ever feeling intrusive. The team packed up and slipped away without us even noticing. Our families and several of our parents’ friends commented on how delicious the food was. On time, excellent quality and ultra delicious! Kathy & her team catered lunch for our teachers. We had sandwiches, but these were the most delicious sandwiches and wraps ever. No joke! We LOVE Kathy and her team - and her food! The Institute for Priestly Formation has used her many times in many locations with many various groups of guests and have never been disappointed. She is so great to work with; timely, easy, and the food is always so delicious. She even remembers who is gluten intolerant and asks if they'll be joining us for each specific event so she can prepare specific foods for them! We HIGHLY recommend A Catered Affair. More...
