Mike Bravo Decorators has been in the decorating trade for nearly seven years now. It has grown into a family business, consisting of my son and eight other decorators. I have been painting and decorating for over 30 years, having started decorating from the age of 16 when I left school. Now, I’m putting all my years of decorating experience into my company and investing back into my growing workforce to keep delivering the best service possible. I can proudly say that we now have hundreds of satisfied customers across the UK who can attest to our decorating skills and professional finish.
We specialise in all aspects of interior decorating, from wallpapering and plastering to graining and mural painting. No interior decorating job is too big or too small. We have experience touching up paintwork in government buildings in big cities, to full makeovers of tiny cottages in the countryside. The Mike Bravo team includes two qualified plasterers as well as a fully trained carpenter. These boys come in handy with larger renovations that require more than just a lick of paint on the walls. It’s better for the customer too, as they don’t have to spend the time and money looking for another tradesperson, as my team can do it all as part of the same job and budget.
Each decorating job is different and they all come with their own challenges. However, there are some issues that can rear their head on a decorating job. The majority are minor and can be mitigated with proper planning but some are unavoidable. For example, accessibility to certain public buildings such as government property, schools and hospitals often requires a higher level of security. Fortunately, all of my staff are fully vetted and DBS checked. Weather is never really a challenge for us either because, as interior decorators, we are very rarely working outside exposed to the elements. As I’ve said before, if the job is properly budgeted, your objectives are clear, and you have a great team behind you, you should encounter very few challenges.

Our job was one that no body really wants as we have a large old house with tonnes of wooden joinery and it hadn’t been touched in well over 20years.. it is cedar and has lots of small panes. Ady and his guys spent months sanding it back and bringing it back to life. I am at home most of the time but they were lovely around the house and unobtrusive. They did an excellent job. We also had some inside painting done including a feature wall which I was extremely fussy about as I didn’t want it to appear ‘paint finished’ but wanted a chalky depth and they kept tweaking until they nailed it . They don’t take shortcuts and I totally recommend them.

Solid Roofing Solutions (Tusi) was a great find. Right from his initial prompt visit to quote to the final finishing he was professional, enthusiastic and there was great communication throughout. He provided the best quote and did the work in half the time the others quoted. Our new garage roof looks fantastic, and comes with a 2 year warranty. I highly recommend Tusi and his team.

Peter and Esala did the most incredible job painting the entire interior of my Dad’s house at an insanely efficient and remarkable speed in order for us to meet our tight deadline. From the beginning the team were so well-organized, professional, understanding, good-humoured and kind. They started work early each day and finished late, working so hard over weekends and even a public holiday in order to get the job done for us. Nothing was ever a problem and they were just so good-natured, accommodating and extremely hard-working - going above and beyond every single day. The workmanship was just incredible and we are blown away with how great the house looks and what an absolutely stunning job they did. We seriously thought 10 people were working in the house the ground they covered was tremendous without compromising on quality. Every room was impeccable and the house looks completely transformed. They are also just the nicest, most considerate guys. Could not recommend Peter and Team more and I hope they know how much we appreciate them and how superb we think they are! Thank you so much for helping us so fantastically on such a huge project - we will never forget all your work and kindness!
