I Love this place. Homemade pasta! You can chose the pasta, sauce and toppings. I love the vodka sauce. According to the menu, its made with vodka from the distillery across the street. I had fettuccine and added loads of veggies... artichokes, asparagus, broccoli, mushrooms and olives. It was delicious! It's BYOB which saves you some $ and you can put towards dessert, which most (if not all) are homemade. We had tiramisu and a lemon dessert, both were incredible. Very nice addition to new cumberland! Portion size was nice and our server, Jess, was amazing! Very pleasant! I highly recommend stopping in. Probably the best chicken parm I have ever tried! I was recently here with my family and extended family for dinner. We had a large group and so we were in the back room. This was a great space for a gathering. My mom and I always recommend this restaurant to anyone we know who asks about somewhere for Italian food. There aren't many left in central PA so it's nice that we have one within walking distance of our home. My husband and I ate here last night.  It was our first visit so we watched the dishes being set at the table next to us carefully.  Big beautiful bowls of pasta!  I ordered the special - home made pasta with seafood.  The scallops were to die for!  The past was fresh and cooked perfectly.  My husband had the spaghetti with red sauce and meatballs.  He ate the entire bowl!  He's pretty picky about red sauce but practically licked the bowl.  Don't bother getting the bread - there is more than enough food.  We also got the salmon toast appetizer.  It alone would be the perfect meal.  We didn't bring wine but it is a BYOB.  The service was terrific.  Our waitress was just the right amount of helpful and friendly.  We'll be back! Great lunch. Our special request was accommodated: Black ink squid pasta with calamari. Excellent service. Next time- for dinner - we will BYOB and perhaps go on a Friday or Saturday for live music.

Had dinner at Zanelli's last night. The food was DELICIOUS! It is worth the easy 40 minute drive to New Cumberland. Michael Arthur's wonderful vocals and music was enjoyable as always and a great backdrop to the meal. ..The salads and bruschetta appetizers were so fresh and very tasty. The lasagna was luscious. A simple pasta with pesto and chicken piccata were both excellent. And the chicken Parmesan was the best we've ever had.  Dessert was shared tiramisu and a berry and cream pastry; both SO good. I'm quite the foodie and rather judgmental when it comes down to it. I ordered the Steak Pizioli and wings with hot sauce to go. I was pleasantly greeted when I entered the restaurant. My food was ready faster than was promised. I took it back to my hotel and opened the deliciously smelling package. "Oh wow", I exclaimed as I took my first bite. I admit that I misread the menu and thought I had ordered a steak sub. The pizioli is more like a steak parmesan and it's outstanding. After several bites (it was hard to stop, but I had to try the wings before I wad full) I decided to try the wings. They were good with the sauce, but they did not need it. I've only had wings this good one other time and that was in Nashville. The dry rub is amazing and there's just the right amount of smoke. I'm only here for a few more days, and I'm definitely coming back for more. More...

My wife and I were staying near here while visiting from out of town. We did not have a reservation, but I do recommend getting one. My wife ordered a pizza. It was delicious. The crust was done perfectly and it was seasoned nicely. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana with a side of meatballs. It came with spaghetti also. The pasta was obviously made in house and very fresh. It was properly served slightly al dente. The marinara was as good as what I make at home from scratch, and cook for hours. You can taste the love. The meatballs were good sized with great flavor and seasoning. I followed the meal up with a cannoli. It was delicious. Parking is not an issue. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, which is a shame, because a piemonte red such as a Barbera would have been perfect with this meal. The signs say BYOB, though I'm unsure if they charge an uncorking fee if you do. Eat here. It's well worth it. The food is appropriately priced with its quality and portion. More...

For my mother's 60th bday we hosted her surprise bday party in Zanelli's new private, banquet room. Joan was fantastic in assisting us in coordinating the event, quick to communicate, and ready to answer questions. The room is plain and is a blank canvas. We added our own decor for color, brought our own cake, and enjoyed delicious food with our family - a party or approximately 30 ppl. We had chicken Parmesan over a bed of noodles with a garden salad, bread, and bruschetta as an appetizer. Our Italian family raved over how delicious the spaghetti was and the food overall. The room was able to easily corral our 7 kids into one area and provide us the privacy to enjoy the moment with all. Our 1st time there and it definitely won't be our last! The food is outstanding. The best time to go, we think, is during the week when they aren't swamped. Service was very good and we didn't wait very long for our food. After all, why do you go to a restaurant? Answer- food.
