Yolandas was transparent and upfront about the cost of cleaning. The bathtub and kitchen sink was used as a toilet and the toilet as a tub and odor unbearable which cause other tenants to complain to management. Yea i know GROSS.. nobody lives like that but anyways this was the situation i was facing with his unit. I wasn't expecting a miracle but three team crew left the place virtuality spotless. They able to remove all the feces from the tube and sink and the whole apartment was disinfected top to bottom and that terrible odor was completely nuetralized. I needed help with my brothers place who suffers from varies metal disorders. His apartment was in disarray and had received a three day notice to clean the unit or vacate it. I had a few cleaning services look at the unit but felt that couldn't handle the monumental task of getting the place clean within three days of inspection since their bids were pretty low but the rep from Yolandas was transparent and upfront about the higher cost of cleaning. When it comes to cleaning services, they HIT THE SPOT. All the spots on your counters, tables, nick knacks, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and everything in between. My co-worker recommended this service because she knows I'm a difficult boss to please, but until you try all for yourself you really won't get it. We have all had those so-called affordable cleaning ladies who vacuum around stuff, don't clean picture frames, just clean around things total lack of details and give you disappointing results (it's like having your car work on by a cheap mechanic - like my husband- and hope it works afterwards .. YAAH RIGHT!! ) . With them the house had never been SO CLEAN, not even after moving into the rental and having another cleaning service come out. The hardwoods were so shiny and clean they looked brand new. All the crown moldings were dusted, ceiling fans and window sills were immaculate, the appliances were like new. They use HIGH QUALITY cleaning products and they also come with A LOT of cleaning rags and they don't use the same one the whole time (this is very good for preventing cross contamination).I would RECOMMEND getting the deep cleaning for the initial visit and then only a standard cleaning will be necessary for a while. I promise you will not be disappointed with the condition of your home after they have a whack at it. I broke a few bones in my body and i was out for several months and my apartment suffer the consequences. My place was a pig style and smelled like the morgue. Brian cleaning crew Martha, candy, Rosa saved me from so much stress and suffering. I was at the point where I could not sleep at night because I was so worried about this massive mess I had to tackle. I didn't realize that that remolding one room would create so much dust everywhere and in addition to a long over due spring cleaning.  This job required at least a weeks+ worth of work windows, carpet cleaning, walls, woodfloor, chandeliers, lamps, etc etc... unless, perhaps, you tackled it as a team all day/night for 3 or 4 days. We only had 2 and a half days to go for an open house to get this house up for sale. As a previous car sales person i never was able to sell a dirty car so this place had to be spotless. so, I started and the cleaning never stopped for those 2 and a half days. But, I couldn't have gotten it done without the help of Yolandas Maid. I am just going to be real, I am a master organizer... yeah I said it... but when it comes to cleaning, I know I still have some room to grow. I am like, average... but Martha? HA! She was NOT playing around, that woman and her entourage  left no corner uncleaned. they were a machine, with a kind heart, and a really impressive amount of dedication. They rocked it as a team, I organized, and they made everything shine! They even  send a cleaner to reclean some spots that were missed the first time on the wood floors.  The reason I give 5 stars is because of their customer service. Everybody makes mistakes especially big cleaning projects and must expect some setbacks but they are quick to reply and will rectify any issues. Talk about thorough!!! First of all Brian is so sweet, sincere, and accommodating. And the cleaners, holy smokes! Definitely did an amazing job and didn't cut any corners. I am never home and haven't been in the most motivated of spirits lately, so a messy atmosphere has been accumulating and accumulating to the point where I honestly didn't know where I should start. I was so overwhelmed, I finally decided to spring for professional cleaning assistance and boy did they deliver! Expensive but worth it. Martha and her co worker are sticklers for detail and go above and beyond when it comes to cleaning. I have a 1 bedroom and it took them 5.5 hrs @ 75.00 hr ($412.50) for a deep clean, including dusting the walls, doing windows, wiping down baseboards, doors, behind furniture, spic and span.  It will cost you but they are worth it. Okay, I read some of the other reviews.  This guy had a crew of 3 people cleaning my son's apartment.  I mean deep dirty cleaning.  It was filthy (dog hair, dust and fleas everywhere)  I asked him not to bring "green" cleaners.  Son lives in CA and I in TX--hired the guy over the phone came to an agreed number of $75/hour for two maids (found ad on CL.)  He added the third guy complimentary for half of the time.  The apartment looks like a different place completely.  I love it!  I wish they were in TX, I'd hired them for our bi-weekly cleaning.  Thanks so much Fred! ~ Robyn Yeary More...

I moved here from out of state and took over the lease of an apartment. The first night I spent in my new place, I wanted to cry because it was so filthy and disgusting. I thought for sure that I had made a huge mistake and that I wouldn't be able to occupy the apartment for even the remainder of the lease. I had booked Yolanda's cleaners for the carpet and housecleaning for day two anticipating that the apartment might need some sprucing up (little did I know...it was trashed!).  Martha and Candy showed up and I swear they were miracle workers! I thought for sure the carpet would need to be replaced and that I would have to clean some things after they left. wrong! Martha made my place sparkling and new! I left for a bit to let them do their thing, and when I came home I had a home! My bathroom is gorgeous! not only was the place clean but Martha even hung my shower curtain for me. I swear the second night I spent in this place, I wanted to cry tears of gratefulness because my place is beautiful! i think I have lived here too long and just got accustomed to the light coating of dust everywhere, or fooled myself into thinking my fixtures were brushed chrome because they looked that way when I cleaned them. Not so after Yolandas maids and  carpet cleaner. They are so clear, I can see myself in them. And my cheap Ikea furniture looks brand new. As does my vintage stove from the 60's. Even my carpet looks new again when they were first installed. I'm amazed.Despite the glowing reviews here, I really didn't expect anything more than strict adherence to what was listed in the deep clean service agreement (I appreciate that Fred emailed a copy of this with the appointment), but my cleaner Martha with her team went WAY above and beyond. I don't think there's anything in here that they didn't dust; they somehow got all the white specks out of my black rug, and the fact that the inside of my microwave is just as clean as the outside is a super pleasant surprise.  Martha was also super personable and  helpful and clearly took a lot of pride in her work. These guys do it all! Those pesky spider webs you can't reach, dirt on your glass surfaces and even the corners of the fridge or microwave that you didn't feel like scrubbing. All crisp, clean and spotless thanks to Yolandas Maids! At first I wasn't sure if I could trust anyone else to clean my house. So I gave them a call and they sent someone out when I needed them over. This company does a fantastic job cleaning our home. It usually looks like a fancy hotel when they leave, even the toilet paper is folded at the edges and they always do special little touched I wouldn't have thought of like folding a whole section of napkins, arranging our kids doll house or doing something pretty and interesting with the couch cushions. We send an email, the give us a time, they show up. I booked this last week for a Birthday present for my sister. Irving was really nice and helpful over the phone. martha and Dina showed up on time and did an excellent job. I did prep them ahead of time that this was going to be a big chore and booked them for 4 hours. It took them 4.5 hours. All the time they were here, they were respectful, worked earnestly and kept at cleaning the entire time. Both of them were also so polite - asking me if they may please have some water. Of course!! The bathrooms sparkled and so did the kitchen. I'm going to try to convince my sister to book them monthly. The costs were very reasonable at $35 an hour for 2 people. Amazing!! I can't afford a full-time maid, so I did the next best thing . . . wait until the house is a complete and utter disaster then hire a small troop to invade and destroy the dirt and grime. I had 2 ladies come out for about 4 hours.
I have to admit though, I was a little embarrassed while they were cleaning because there were corners of our house that I haven't ventured to in years.
The ladies were really nice and really thorough. Kitchen, both restrooms, and the living room are spic and span again. I felt awkward standing around watching them clean, so I just hung around the house and let them work their magic. Yolandas Maid & Carpet has exceptional service all around. From start to finish. This is my very first experience using a cleaning service so I wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I are moving from DC to Los angeles tomorrow and this week has been crazy crazy busy and made worse because I've been sick. Since the husband's company is giving us $10K towards relocation, we decided to splurge and go with a cleaning company to do a one time move out clean. I called Wednesday morning and spoke with a pleasant man who made arrangements to have two employees come by between 8:00AM and 8:30AM Thursday morning. He put my credit card on file and that was that. Fatao and Maria called me when they arrived and were so pleasant. They greeted me and dived up the apartment. Fatao got started in the kitchen and Maria began in the bathroom. I was embarrassed about the state of my apartment (and a tiny bit embarrassed that I am hiring someone to clean my apartment....I haven't told my mom yet and I'm sure my great grandmother, who cleaned houses just to scrape by would roll in her grave...or at least roll her eyes. If she still had any and they weren't decomposed....) Anyhow, they were great. They were so fast! We went across the street for breakfast and it was clean before we were done eating! It took a little over an hour.I definitely had my reservations about hiring a company for carpet cleaning that did not specialize specifically in carpets. But our entire apartment looks better than it did when we first moved in. I can't sing their praises enough. Please, if you are trying to bring the magic back to your carpet, (or at least just get your security deposit back) hire Yolandas Maids. Fatao and Maria were PHENOMENAL. My husband and I looked at each other and sighed yesterday when we moved the bed. The carpet underneath was a mess. We have a 1 y/o puppy that likes to drag things under the bed. There was a throw up stain (gross I know. don't judge us we didn't know it was under there!) and black spots from the coal he stole from the fireplace to play with. In addition to that there were two places where he didn't quite make it to the puppy pad in time and we didn't quite get to the soap and water in time. The carpet looks BRAND new.I admit I was skeptical when Fatao busted out a hand held steam cleaner with a cute little backpack attached. I expected it to look decent, acceptable. Just enough for our landlords to go to the bedroom, purse their lips, look around, pause and go "meh"...then send us our security deposit. I swear this pair of hard workers revived it to its original form. In fact, ...I would seriously work them into the budget if we were going to stay in DC. I live in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in Van Ness ave. You would think that unless we live in a penthouse apartment, were we to have a party, you wouldn't be able to fit more than 15 people comfortably. Well we did have said party. And I couldn't give you exact numbers on how many people we had in the apartment last night, but judging by the disaster zone my apartment looked like afterwards... well, have you ever seen Animal House? I set up my appointment with Fred last week.  Martha along with her team  was assigned to handle this tough job. The team arrived on time.  Knowing that there was going to be someone coming to clean i allowed for a little extra laziness on my part.  The girls walked into a clothing tornado! I have a cat that doesn't like anyone, but stays away from everyone. I told Martha and her team what to do if she happened to hiss at her. We went over a few more things & I left her there. I walked back into my apartment at 4:50. The cleaning crew was almost done. On a scale of 1-10, I give the cleaning a 9 leaning very heavily toward an 10.  I think  the cleaners was a little unsure as to where some things should go. However, an empty can goes in the garbage.  I found some minor things undone such as some dusting, which I really needed no big deal.  All of that being said, Yolandas Maids and the Carpet cleaner did a wonderful job given the time & mess that  they dealt with and my carpets looks like they have been revived from the dead. I left out of town for four month and I return only to discovered i had a bug infestation and a dirty apartment.  Unfortunately my significant other had failed to properly maintain my place while I was away.  She left out leftover food and a pile of smelly dishes with maggots crawling and gnats everywhere.  There was no way  I was going  to wipe out the cabinets, clean dishes and reorganize all this stuff, not to mention it was so gross I had to spend the night at her apartment.  After contemplating the cost it was time to bring in the professionals.  After speaking to a few services,  Yolanda's Maid took on the challenge to make my pad livable again. These cleaners don't play around they mean serious business when it comes to cleaning. They literally did a complete overhaul on my place and now my apartment looks lovely. The floors are shiny and the kitchen hasn't look so good since I moved in. I've put off getting a cleaning service for a long time, thinking that I can do a better job, cheaper myself. I finally broke down and decided to call a cleaning service after my battles to keep my 2 BR apartment clean got the best of me. I have had a great experience with Yolandas Maid & Carpet Cleaners. Their rates are very reasonable and there is a team of two cleaners who do my place so they are very efficient. One time the cleaners could not come out until a few hours later than their usual time and I got a call the day before and the day of apologizing for the inconvenience and ensuring that this was OK with me, which I really appreciated. Also I accidentally left my alarm system on once and couldn't be reached to turn it off. My husband and I are expecting a baby in the next 2 weeks. The house was getting out of control with all the baby preparations. I opted to try a cleaning service and called this company. The job was the best I have used. The kitchen was washed from top to bottom, including all the appliances from the inside. My major concern was disinfecting the home before my new arrival and it was done beautifully. In all my years in searching and searching for a dependable cleaning service, I finally found one. My relationship with them is almost 1yr. In this past year the service has always remained the same excellent quality and overall the management has remained the same dependability. Major concerns are always the kitchen and the bathrooms, which are always done so detailed, I never have any major complaints. One call and they clean my house, change the sheets, make the beds, and straighten up and left everything out to dry. I am very impressed with the deep cleaning I received today by yolandas maids & carpet cleaners. The training process must be very strict as the cleaners are very careful of covering all the areas promised for the service. I was surprised the smaller appliances like the coffee maker and toaster oven were also cleaned nicely. Having my grandchildren visiting for the summer has made my home impossible to keep up with cleaning- but the service gave me a good head start.
