This place is very trendy and cozy. Hard mix to come by. The food is really good, too. We had sake to drink (which tastes very strong), wasabi pork dim sum, sunset roll and crispy duck. The sunset roll stole the show even though the other stuff was incredible. It's Yakitori Hour Time! I am always in the lookout for great happy hours deals in the area and definitely Yakitori Sake House had me come back for seconds! ! This was my second time and I keep getting impressed with how great the whole experience is. Got there around - quarter to five and the restaurant was not busy.. Yay for us! Sat down and our server took our order immediately. I love Lychee and guess what they had it on HH yay! Refreshing, sweet but not too sweet type of gal. My fiancé had the mango  mojito, which tasted  like a tropical night under the stars with a good kick of RUM. Food:Started with some Lobster and Shrimp wonton soup, clear and light broth with around 5 wontons. Simple and Delicious. The Beef Short Rib skewer was my ultimate favorite! Tender meat with sweet and salty vibe. I loved it so much we ordered 2! Also the Bang Bang Shrimp was lightly battered and enough spicy mayo sauce. Another of my absolute favorite item was the Tuna Love Sushi. So gorgeous I didn't wanted to eat it. Talk about presentation, that baby killed it! We chose to have a semi-random sushi out night last night.  We looked around and found a spot, Yakitori, that had a happy hour.  But it was 8 o'clock, we had missed it.  Then we saw they have a late night happy hour starting at 9pm.  We were out the door and on our way! We grabbed a couple of sweet spots at the sushi bar and started with a couple of drinks.  I was feeling like something different, but with kick, so I got the pineapple martini.  It wasn't what I would normally order but it hit the spot.  Next came a few appetizers.  The pork Gyoza was as good as any other place.  The Shishito peppers were really great.  they were seasoned and tasted fresh.When the rolls came out we were ready.  We got a Red Dragon and a Sex on the moon.  The latter had a Shrimp tempura base which we normally don't go for, but it was the best in a long time.  The fun combination of the Red Dragon: Salmon and mango and shrimp and tuna was fantastic.  it was scrumptious with all the seafood in it, but the slight sweetness of the mango really added a nice left turn to the flavor.  There are so many other spots to hit for a dinner happy hour, but it's assured, we will have another at Yakitori soon. 8:30pm and we hadn't had dinner yet.  Craving sushi, and wanted something in the Mizner area.  Yelp App pointed me to Yakitori.  Not only was the location perfect, when I went to their site, I saw they offered late happy hour, starting at 9pm, which was perfect for us that night.Their happy hour runs daily from 4pm to 6:30pm, then again from 9pm to close, which includes appetizers, rolls and drinks.  They also have lunch and dinner menus.  Thy offer rolls, sashimi, noodles, rice, etc.  Also fish, steak and chicken dishes, curry, Pecking duck and more.As is usual to Japanese restaurants, the light are dim, they have bar seating, right in front of the sushi station.  They also have tables for 2, 4 or larger groups.We got there 15 minutes to 9pm, sat at the bar and while we waited for the HH to start we sipped on a glass of wine and watched them prepare beautiful sashimi dinners and sushi rolls.  Also, good to see how they cleaned constantly making you feel great about eating there.Once we got the corresponding menu, we ordered:- Asian Pear Martini:  this is regularly $12 but for HH it was $8.  Even with the discount I would not order it again.  Sweet, and with a weird after taste.  - Pineapple Martini:  same price as above and not my favorite either.  After these two drinks were a fail, we switched to wine.  - Bang Bang Shrimp:  usually $10 we got it for $7.  This was a great portion for sharing.  We did ask for more spicy mayo as it was lacking a bit of taste.- Shishito Peppers: $6 during regular hours $4 during HH.  Also a generous amount for sharing, perfectly "charred" and so flavorful.  Do be careful, some are spicier than others but you will not want to stop eating them- Pork Steamed Gyoza:  came about 5 per order, and they are $2 off during HH.  Loved these!  I would definitely say this is a must order.- Sex on the Moon Roll:  This was $9 during the special price hours.  Shrimp tempura, asparagus, avocado, topped with spicy tuna and sweet chili sauce.  I usually don't like tempura but this was delicious.  The tempura coating was light/ not overpowering, allowing the flavors of the ingredients come through.- Red Dragon Roll:  this is not on the HH menu but worth the $14 regular price.  Salmon, avocado, mango, topped with tiger shrimp, spicy tuna and spicy mayo.Service was great!  There was always someone around making sure we were doing good, refilling our drinks or getting the extra sauce or wasabi we wanted.Great find and one we'll sure visit again. This is an exceptional sushi restaurant. Period. We tried several different appetizers: grilled shishito peppers, grilled beef short ribs (with Korean BBQ sauce), yellowtail & jalapeño sashimi...all of them, very, very good. The STAR was the yellowtail carpaccio with truffle oil and crispy garlic. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We had a wonderfully tasty shrimp tempura (just to get a "baseline" on things we normally eat). My first visit to Yakitori on a friend's request was a good experience.  The atmosphere is nice and the menu is larger than you think (once you understand how to explore it). I had the Seafood Clay Pot and a Spiderman roll which was prepared to perfection.  Expect to Valet on Friday or Saturday, unless you arrive before 5:30pm to get a free spot. The server did not look up, so it was impossible do o flag her down.  Our drinks ran dry multiple time. It was a slow Sunday night, so the waitress looked busy running around, but not efficient.  The price was a little high and they did not offer any specials.  So the service did not meet the standards for the price. Delicious food! Unique dishes, reasonable prices, fair portions and nice staff. Hands down the best sushi restaurant I've eaten at in south Florida. The uni was so fresh, the eel and foie gras appetizer was incredible, the red mango roll was delicious and had delicious fresh good amount of lobster, the shishito peppers were so good and the chefs special sea bass was literally the best sea bass I've ever had. If the service had been more hospitable I would give this 5 stars. I'm not one to give negative reviews but the service was quite slow and the server forgot part of our order. This spot is conveniently located and the food is quite good. We enjoyed a few cocktails which were made well.
