World Class gave me a much better deal and fixed the problem. I have a lot of good things to say about the expert work and care given to the recent work at my home in Centereach. After the initial phone conversation I knew instinctively that I was dealing with honest and reasonable people. I've had my share of telephone solicitors for chimney sweeps, but went on a recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad I did. The price they quoted to reline my chimney was over 700 dollars less expensive than a local competitor. They were clean and weren't in any rush to leave the job until it was complete and cleaned thoroughly. Had a great experience with Anthony and his family run business. Great communication from making the appointment, to confirming the appointment and arriving on time as promised. Recommended repair work made sense, price was fair. Work was done very professionally taking care not to harm roof or the inside of my house. They did the repair and cleaned up after themselves. Went on vacation & had an emergency at my rental house. Boiler had to be shut off because CO2 alarms went off. Fire department said the CO2 alarms went off because chimney was clogged up. I called& Anthony from world class came over& saw the lining of my 53 year old chimney had broken apart. Anthony put a stainless steel double wall flue pipe in & saved the day. About two years ago I had my Chase cover and chimney cap replaced by another company. Soon after, I realized I was constantly getting water in my basement. I called the company to come back several times and correct it but he gave me a hard time and never fixed the issue. Rather then dealing with the other company again, I decided I needed to find a new honest chimney company. I found Anthony and Steve through a google search. I couldn't be happier with the end results. Not only did these guys come quick they found the issue and fixed it the same day! I had three companies come look at the issue, one company wanted to charge me several thousand dollars to completely replace the work the other company did. You will Get Burned Unless you call these guys. Like Most homeowners, I know nothing about fireplaces. I was getting a lot of smoke in my house whenever I lit a fire. I called 4 local chimney cleaning companies. The first three wanted between $6500 and $1200 to fix a long laundry list of supposed flaws in my chimney. We recently had our chimney cleaned and a new damper installed and couldn't be happier. We were having a lot of problems with a smoke smell coming back into our house and since we got it done there isn't a single scent of fire in our home. Anthony and his crew were neat, clean and efficient. Called Anthony in the morning and told him I needed my fireplace chimney cleaned. It had never been cleaned and we built the house in 2008, 10 years, (my bad) and we burn a lot of wood! Gave him my address and he said he would get to me within 10 days (give or take) and I told him if he could squeeze me in or gets any cancellations I'm usually around and that would be great. A phone call that afternoon and Anthony, Steve and crew are in my driveway. They hit me on the way home. Thirty minutes later, all clean and I'm ready for another winter. UGH! Had my chimney and boiler cleaned this weekend. The team was excellent, from coming to my house when I was actually free, to price for the work. Staff were professional, clean, organized, and quick. They gave me some good deals on equipment, and showed me everything they were discussing firsthand so I could see it with my own eyes. These guys are top notch. A great family business that treat their customers like... family! I moved into a house that was never maintained properly, and found that the house smelled like soot and ash whenever the air conditioner was on. I figured it was sucking air through the chimney. I called world class and spoke with Anthony and he worked around my schedule to make sure I was not inconvenienced. Lo-and behold, not only was my fireplace filled with about 8 inches of ash, but the liner was collapsing in on itself, the flue was broken, the crown needed work, and so on and so forth. Extremely easy to work with, responsive, honest, reasonably priced, and performed the necessary work very quickly and cleaned after themselves. Highly recommend giving them a call for a basic cleaning and/or liner and cap installation. I had a major bird nest that hardend in my wood burning stove flue. They came on schedule and found the problem within minutes. I called World Class today because my chimney seen better days, the owner Anthony said he will be over in 25 minutes which is unheard of but he was here in 20, after the inspection of the chimney Steven the co-owner notice my chimney was filled with water and could cause harm to my family causing carbon monoxide to fill my house, the brothers team had all the parts on hand to properly install a one piece flex pipe to maximize exhaust to the outside giving me the piece of mind my family is safe. I used World Class Maintenance to install my chimney liner, fix the crown and flashing. I went to a few companies for quotes and Steve was straight forward at the very beginning and gave me the best price. When I told other companies who quoted me higher, I wasn't interested, they started bargaining with me. Even though other companies dropped their prices, I hate those type of people and would not trust them to do the work. World Class did not do that, so I chose them. They did a fantastic job and was very attentive to detail. They noticed my pipes connected to the furnace was rusted, and cared enough to tell me and replaced it for free.
