I’ve experienced exceptional service from WPM, especially from Dawnette. She helped my family and I when no one else would. I am forever grateful to her and WPM. Now that we’ve decided to purchase our 2nd home, I would not hesitate to contract WPM to manage my property!

I have had the best customer service experience with WPM South, and Dawnette Fletcher specifically. She has been consistently prompt, courteous and professional at all times.

Update: Six months later, I continue to enjoy the same great customer service from WPM South. No complaints whatsoever.

If you own a home in the South Sound region and are looking for a professional, courteous, honest property management company, go ANYWHERE BESIDES WPM South. I have lived in a rental property for 19 years, and have enjoyed a very positive relationship with the owners. I am a model tenant. I am a college-educated professional, quiet and responsible. I always pay my rent on time, and take immaculate care of the house and the property. The owners live out of state most of the year, so naturally they were looking to have a local company manage the property; enter WPM South over 15 years ago.
In that time, I have worked with a series of property managers, and without exception, all of them have been rude, disagreeable, dishonest, and condescending. Apparently, the word "renter" or "tenant" is synonymous with irresponsible, poor, uneducated, and lazy. I find this to be an amusing paradox, considering the terrible customer service provided to me, and the owners, by this company.
Over the years, I have had several unpleasant encounters with Barbara, Austin, Paris, and most recently, Elaine (to name just a few). One summer during a drought and water shortage, I received an angry, rude voicemail from Barbara demanding that I water my lawn. After a particularly violent wind storm, a tree in the front yard collapsed and Barbara stated over the phone to the owners (right in front of me mind you) that "this is Erin's fault; she should have predicted that the tree was going to fall down" Ridiculous! Another time, we had a plumbing back up in our main drain and Austin was unhelpful and uncommunicative, so I called Roto Rooter myself, after consulting with the owners. Austin proceeded to verbally berate me over the phone, threatening and trying to intimidate me "you realize you are going to be on the hook to pay this entire bill yourself don't you?". For me, that was the last straw.
After sharing these MULTIPLE negative experiences with the owners, they apologized to me profusely, and encouraged me to reach out to them for any assistance in the future, and avoid WPM South, which is what we have been doing for several years now. WPM South continued to collect rent from me, and fees from the owners, but literally, did NOTHING else.
Needless to say, I was ecstatic last month when the owners told me they were officially terminating their contract with this horrible company. I congratulated them, and we immediately set up a system for me to give them the rent money myself each month.
Entering our last chapter dealing with WPM South, they have, very characteristically, been dishonest, unhelpful, and rude. They were told to return my deposit to me in early March; it is the middle of April and I still have not received it. Additionally, they erroneously deducted April's rent from my account, and then had the audacity to blame it on my bank! After the bank informed me that this was untrue, I contacted the company again (this time dealing with Elaine, whom I have never met in person). It is now the middle of April and WPM South still has not returned either sum of money to me, although they have lied and stated on several occasions that "the check is in the mail". This company still has $1500 of MY money and refuses to pay. Looking ahead toward May, it would not shock or surprise me if additional funds were unlawfully deducted from my account, as I have also asked about this situation and have received no answer.
Enter into a business relationship with this company at your own risk! I promise, you will regret it

I own two properties in Latitude Condominiums and WPM has been awesome since they have taken over. Our previous management companies did everything possibly to lie, steal money from us and anything possible to not be trustworthy. Lynn Sutherland and her staff have gone out of their way to help maintain our property and so far they have done a great job. I'm satisfied with WPM and will always recommend them to other property owners.

***Update***

Ever since Lynn has left her position at Windermere, WPM has gone straight downhill. They provide no service, don't live up to their contract and are unprofessional to their customers.

If you're looking to switch over to WPM, please take my advise and look elsewhere.

I left several phone messages with Patricia Jones to get advice on how to handle a homeowner association situation. Instead of her returning my call, she email me at a email address I had on file which I did not give her permission to do and proceeded to tell me she could not call me because my name was not listed as homeowner. I emailed her back and gave her my full name and address and said I've been the homeowner since the development began and again ask her to call. Instead of her verifying that I was a homeowner, she proceeded to rudely respond to me via email even after I left several phone messages for her to call me. It was obvious she was avoiding the phone calls and did not want to address the issue with me via phone. Not sure what I pay association dues for if this is the service I get. We were the 4th family to buy into this new development in 2003 and she proceeded to tell me I needed to get out and meet my neighbors and handle my problem myself. Bottom line, I don't need her telling me I need to get to know my neighbors, I just need for her to do the job she's paid to do. Totally out of line for her to say this to a paying homeowners.
