Hubby and I were passing and stopped on a whim for a late lunch. Greeted by a friendly staff and seated by the window. Wild Ginger is a small and simple restaurant situated in a tiny shopping center. Complementary fried wonton chips and duck sauce was immediately placed on the table. Our crispy salads and spinach egg drop soup came shorty after.We ordered a few Rolls and a dinner entree that we were very pleased with. Everything was delicious and fresh. Very happy our food came out steaming hot since temperature is a big deal to me. My only suggestion , be more generous with the rice. Want to thank the staff for excellent service. Really appreciated that you keep the water and napkins coming. Lunch worked out very well and we plan on returning again when we're in the area. More...

My friend and I had plans forever for sushi....we decided to come here. I've been to the other location in Great Neck and knew I liked it. ..so I figured why not?We were greeted upon arrival and brought to a booth. We need some time to look over the menu as we were going to be sharing a couple of rolls. Our waitress was patient with us. We went with:1. Red Dragon2. Chili Roll3. Crazy Roll4. Wasabi RollAll were spicy, as that what we were in the mood for. The Wasabi Roll was recommended to us by our waitress when we asked her what other roll is spicy. I don't even remember seeing it on the menu. Each roll was delicious and full of flavor. The rolls were also very fresh tasting.Service was great. We weren't rushed and our waitress continued to check on us to make sure everything was okay. For four rolls the total was $33, which is about $8.25 for each roll. Other places charge around $12-$14 for a roll, so it was a great deal!I will be back! I cannot wait to try something else/new! More...

Very surprised this place doesn't have at least a 4 star overall rating. The sushi was very fresh and not filled with rice or other fillers. The lunch special is a great value $12 for 3 rolls which comes with soup or salad. You're also served delicious crunchy noodles with duck sauce for the table.
